Race 1 PETER RYAN & STEVE CORBETT MAIDEN PLATE 850MTRS

TARMAC Trained by Mr H Drew was declared a late scratching at 12-30PM as the gelding sustained injuries to its O/H leg on route to the races. Bookmakers & Patrons were advised by public address. As betting had not commenced no deduction were required. Mr Drew was advised a Vet Clearance would be required prior to TARMAC starting again.
VERRE ELITE (App K Gates) was slowly away.
BELLA PRINCIPESA (Jky I Coombes) was restless in the barriers, jumped in the air at the start losing ground.
BELLA PRINCIPESSA and SAGHEER race wide through out the race.

Race 2 PRIVATE SELECTION CLASS 3 PLATE 1150MTRS

TOKYO TANGO (Jky M Heagney) was restless in the barrier missing the start.
FRANCISCAN FRIAR (App K Gates) overraced in the early and middle stages.

Race 3 MICK SENINI & BEN BOTHAMS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1150MTRS
(1) CRAIGLEA CAPRI (2) SWIFT CASH (3) POLISH COUNTY (4) ROAD TO HEAVEN
SAINT LAURENT was declared a late scratching at 3-00PM when the mare reared over behind the barriers resulting in a few small cuts to the O/F leg. Deduction of 27 cents for a win and 19 cents for a place was announced on correct weight with all monies invested on SAINT LAURENT be refunded. Trainer Mr L Gough was advised SAINT LAURENT must obtain a further Barrier Certificate prior to the mare starting again. Jky M Wood was able to jump clear.
GLAMOUR GIRL (Jky D Sparks) jumped awkwardly taking HENSON PARK (Jky C Kearney) out onto ROSEBOROUGH (Jky M Heagney) resulting in POLISH COUNTRY (Jky S Drake) being tightened between ROSEBOROUGH and MOON LADY (Jky K Sawyers) losing ground.
Rounding the 850mtr corner HENSON PARK (Jky C Kearney) got it head up and race unkindly for a few strides
FROZEN TIME (App J Kropp) raced wide early.
Approaching the 100mtr mark POLISH COUNTY and CRAIGLEA CAPRI brushed.
Jky I Coombes the rider of SWIFT CASH was reprimanded for using the whip consecutive stride under AR137A (5)

JEDI STARFIGHTER (App A Badger) was restless in the barriers and was slow into galloping action.
CRAIGLEA CHARM (App A Kitson) , BATTLE AT SEA (Jky S Drake) and LORD CLINTON (Jky C Kearney) race wide in the middle stage of the race.

Race 5 SUCCULENT AUSTRALIAN BEEF CLASS B HCP 1464MTRS

App D McWhinney the rider of SUTTON PRINCE pleaded guilty for failing to weigh out with irons and was fined $200.
BRYNNER (Jky M Wood) bucked on the way to the start dislodging its rider, and after galloping nearly a complete circuit of the track was declared a late scratching at 4-26PM. Deductions of 9 cents for a win and 10cents for a place was announced on correct weight with all monies invested on BRYNNER be refunded. Trainer Mrs K Hill was advised she must obtain a further barrier certificate prior to the gelding starting again.
STEORRA (App J Kropp) was slow into galloping action.
App K Gates the rider of QUITE STYLISH was severely reprimanded for allowing her mount to shift ground on the 850mtr corner taking RIO MAGIC (Jky C Kearney) out onto IRISH CAFE (Jky S Drake) resulting in RIO MAGIC becoming unbalanced. Trainer Mr B Gill advised Stewards he will engage a senior rider for QUITE STYLISH in all future race rides as the gelding is strong horse to ride.
The winner ONE FUHR THE MONEY was swabbed.
