The Trainer of HAYIL AND HEARTY Mr B Gill was advised a warning is placed on the mare as it proved difficult to load into the barriers.

WHOSH (Jky K Stone) was slowly away.

Mr NIBBLES (App J Kropp) was tightened between SWIFT CASH (Jky I Coombes) and HAYIL AND HEARTY (App A Kitson) on jumping away.

DON’T YOU WORRY (Jky C Kearney) jumped awkwardly.

QUEEN OF BLING (Jky L Appo) raced in restricted room approaching the 900mtrs.

Approaching the 1000mtrs DON’T YOU WORRY (Jky C Kearney) shifted in slightly tightening SEA GOING (App T Chambers). Jky C Kearney was instructed to exercise more care in future race rides.

SWIFT CASH (Jky I Coombes) and HAYIL AND HEARTY (App A Kitson) raced wide in the middle stage of the race.

Stewards were approached by Jky I Coombes , Jky L Appo and App J Kropp stating the false start siren sounded as the start was effected. Stewards inquired into the matter with Starter Mr M Bailey stating as he moved the start leaver his hand made contact with the newly fitted false start switch. Stewards questioned all riders regarding the effect it had on them. After viewing the video of the start Stewards afforded all riders the opportunity to make application to declare their mount a non runner. As no rider wished to make application Stewards gave correct weight on the Judges placing. All riders were instructed that the siren would not be used for the remaining races and if in the event of a false start the Starter would make a loud and clear announcement. The Club President Mr S Slater was instructed to reposition the switch to a position where no contact is made when effecting the start.

Stewards questioned Jky S Bayliss regarding the run of EDWARDSCISSORHANDS during the race. Jky Bayliss stated the gelding did not appreciate the sand surface and was reluctant to stretch out.

Race 2 GYMPIE RSL SOCIAL SNOOKER CLUB MAIDEN PLATE 1000MTRS
(1) LIKAPHANTOM (2) CRAIGLEA DANGER (3) TRIVIAL MISS (4) PUNCTILLIO

MAD ACTION was declared a late scratching at 12-10PM when the gelding refused to be loaded into the barriers. Deduction of 8 cents for a win and 9 cents for a place with all monies invested on MAD ACTION be refunded when correct weight was announced. Trainer Mr P Conomos was instructed MAD ACTION must successfully pass two (2) jump outs prior to starting again.

VISONA GOLD (App D McWhinney) was tightened between BLACK TREASURE (Jky M Heagney) and GRAIGLEA DANGER (Jky L Appo) on jumping away.

PUNCTILIO (Jky J Murphy) and ZOA MAREE (App T Chambers) were slowly away.

Passing the 500mtr BLACK TREASURE (Jky M Heagney) which was over racing shifted in taking LADY ARIAH (Jky R Hancock) in onto FLOSSY’S SUCCESS (Jky C Kearney)

BLACK TREASURE (Jky M Heagney) and VISONA GOLD (App D McWhinney) over raced in the early stage of the race.

Mr MONTGOMERY (Jky J Murphy) was slowly away.

CANADIAN CHIEF (App T Huxham) was tightened between MISS JOBURG (Jky L Appo) and MY ROCK (Jky M Heagney) on jumping away.

Mr Montgomery (Jky J Murphy) and CANADIAN CHIEF (App T Huxham) raced wide through out.

OBI PARK PRINCESSE (Jky K Stone) and THROUGH THE WAVES (Jky I Coombes) shifted ground on the home turn.

MORINGA’S McCOY was declared a late scratching at 12-25PM when Stewards were contacted by Mr R Bradshaw to advise that due to car failure he would be unable to attend. Bookmakers and Patrons were advised of this matter.

NIELLO JOSIE (App A Kitson) reared as the gate opened missing the start.

SILVERLINITY (Jky J Murphy) raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race.

CRAIGLEA ROCKET (App J Kropp) raced wide in the middle stages of the race.

TRY SOME MAGIC (App J Kropp) and RED ROLLER (Jky S Bayliss) made contact on several occasions between the 850mtrs and 1000mtrs.
