Stewards questioned trainer P. Facoory in relation to his reasons for replacing J. Warrington with S. Galloway on KILBRANNAN (Race 5) and COURT ADJOURNED (Race 7) on Tuesday, 20 July. P. Facoory stated that when he became aware that J. Warrington had not ridden trackwork on that morning and established that the rider was ill, he elected to make replacements rather than wait and confirm J. Warrington's availability to ride. When S. Galloway became indisposed on Wednesday morning, P. Facoory sought permission to have J. Warrington reinstated as he had been advised that J. Warrington had fully recovered and was available to ride. J. Warrington advised that whilst he had been ill on the Tuesday, he at no stage had made himself unavailable to ride. After taking into account all circumstances, trainer P. Facoory was cautioned for making the replacement prior to confirmation of the jockey's availability.
