Race 1: www.skychannel.com.au 3yo & Up Maiden H'cap - 1350m.
1st - Tat For Tat 2nd - Beau Velour 3rd - The Hec Man 4th - Casanova's Girl

BEAU VELOUR (B. Poulus) jumped outwards at the start, taking TAT FOR TAT (J. Byrne) out on to CORAZON DE ACERO (K Treble), which was tightened on to the heels of KOSHER (M. Radecker).

ONLYMONEYHONEY (C. Eaton), which was inclined to overrace, was obliged to ease from heels approaching the 1000m. and again at the 900m..

TAT FOR TAT shifted wider making the home turn.

Near the 200m., B. Poulus, rider of BEAU VELOUR, dropped his whip.

KOSHER and CORAZON DE ACERO were both forced to race wide throughout.

A veterinary examination of CORAZON DE ACERO, which was inclined to hang out from the 500m. onwards, revealed no abnormalities.


Race 2: Woodstock Bourbon Class Class 4 H'cap - 800m.
1st - Sheema 2nd - Love In The Mist 3rd - Mini Matilda 4th - Tent

MINI MATILDA (J. Taylor) was slow to begin.

DANCE CAFÉ (J. Pujolas) was inclined to hang in leaving the 400m. and became unbalanced.

MINI MATILDA was inclined to hang in shortly after straightening.

TENT (C. Kearney) was inclined to hang in throughout the race.


Race 3: Berry Concrete Specialist 3yo & Up Maiden Plate - 1200m.
1st - One For One 2nd - Stormy Sequalo 3rd - Pegunny Lad 4th - Neology

SWEPT UP (D. Green) and LITTLE MISS LIZA (M. Crawford) were slow to begin.

EMJAD'AMORE (G. Colless), after being slow to begin, was tightened for room between NEOLOGY (J. Sharp), which shifted in, and RODEO RIDE (D. Griffin), which shifted out.

Shortly after the start, IVOR SPECIAL (B. El-Issa) shifted out, making contact with CAPTAIN ALEX (B. Poulus).

Approaching the 1000m., ONE FOR NONE (J. Byrne) shifted in and away from IVOR SPECIAL, resulting in PEGUNNY LAD (M. Palmer), which was following, being eased.

When the pace slackened approaching the 800m., RODEO RIDE (D. Griffin) was forced to check from the heels of NEOLOGY (J. Sharp). CAMP DAVID (N. Thomas), which was following and racing ungenerously, was forced to ease.

Both ONE FOR NONE and PEGUNNY LAD were held up for clear running from the 600m. until the early stages of the straight.

After entering the straight, ONE FOR NONE shifted out to obtain clear running and in doing so made heavy contact with CAMP DAVID.

BISCARANI (C. Whiteley), LADY HOUDINI (C. Kearney) and CENTRO MAHAL (R. Pittman) were all forced to race wide throughout.


Race 4: Dev & Macca Class 3 H'cap - 1666m.
1st - Skyleda 2nd - Archer's Pride 3rd - Charlie Gun 4th - Miss Tellac

ARCHER'S PRIDE (B. El-Issa) was forced to ease and lost ground shortly after the start when tightened for room between TOM KITTEN (N. Thomas) and CHARLIE GUN (R. McMahon), which shifted out after being bumped by SOVEREIGN RUSH (A. Merritt).

N. Thomas, rider of TOM KITTEN, was forced to stop riding and straighten leaving the 100m. when his horse was inclined to shift in under pressure.

KINGLINESS (J. Byrne) was forced to race wide throughout.






Race 5: Hotel Care Week Maiden H'cap m.
1st - Blackbettybambalam 2nd - Chelseann 3rd - Pelting 4th - Carino A La Vida

Apprentice K. Treble (CARINO A LA VIDA) was fined the sum of $100 for weighing out without a vest. In assessing penalty, stewards took into account K. Treble's honesty and the particular circumstances relating to this matter.

NEARCO'S GENIUS (M. Radecker) was slow to begin.

CHAZANI (C. Spry), which was slow to begin, was tightened at the start between ISALLURING (B. El-Issa), which shifted out, and QUESTION ME NOT (J. Byrne), which shifted in.

NOBLE ONE (C. Whiteley), which was slow to begin, was hampered slightly by SAILOR GAL (M. Smith-Lester), which jumped away awkwardly.

Leaving the 1100m., PRINCE VLAD (D. Griffin) was inclined to overrace and was forced to ease from the heels of BLACKBETTYBAMBALAM (M. Palmer).

QUESTION ME NOT (J. Byrne) raced ungenerously leaving the 800m..


Race 6: XXXX Pineapple Hotel Class m.
1st - Bonds Girl 2nd - Belles Opinion 3rd - With Daring 4th - You'll Do Me

SHE'S ALL AT SEA (K. Yoshida) jumped away awkwardly, losing ground.

PRINCE HARPO (S. Drake) was tightened for room at the start between BOUND TO VICTORY (K. Cunningham) and LAURA LEIGH (J. Byrne), which shifted out.

Leaving the 500m., WITH DARING (B. Poulus) was forced wider on the track by LAURA LEIGH (J. Byrne), which was forced out by BELLES OPINION (M. Smith-Lester).

Leaving the 400m., SHE'S ALL AT SEA (K. Yoshida) became unbalanced, shifted out and bumped WEONA GOLD (D. Griffin), resulting in both runners losing ground.

A post-race veterinary examination of LAURA LEIGH failed to reveal any abnormality.


Race 7: City Pacific Finance Class 1 H'cap - 1350m.
1st - Mr Sportsman 2nd - Foreign Title 3rd - The Proms 4th - King Jesmond

AUNTY BESS was declared a late scratching at 4.41 p.m. on veterinary advice after being examined by the club's veterinary surgeon at the barriers. No deductions were made to betting. Trainer W. Gesler was advised that he would be required to provide a veterinary clearance for AUNTY BESS prior to its next race start.

BLEU NOIR (D. Green) was slow to begin.

Both CASH ALL OVER (S. Drake) and FOREIGN TITLE (M. Palmer) raced wide from the 800m..

KING SPARTAN (N. Thomas) hung out rounding the home turn and over the concluding stages.

Approaching the 50m., SWIFT AND SURE (J. Byrne) was obliged to ease momentarily when MR SPORTSMAN (G. Colless) shifted in.


Race 8: XXXX As Good As Gold Class 2 H'cap - 1200m.
1st - Space Dream 2nd - McKenney 3rd - Just Necking 4th - Carpentaria

CLARION CALL (J. Byrne) blundered slightly on jumping away.

Leaving the 500m., KEEP A DREAM ALIVE (B. El-Issa) shifted in, making contact with the running rail.

JUST NECKING (R. McMahon) was held up approaching the 400m. and unable to gain clear running until the early stages of the straight.

A post-race veterinary examination of JUST NECKING failing to reveal any abnormalities.
