Race 1: Battle Of Bita Paka Maiden H’Cap – 1100m
GALAXY QUEST – Began very awkwardly and lost ground. Rider K. Yoshida reported the gelding hung out badly throughout.
SPIRIT TORQUE – Bumped at start.
PRINCE TORELLO – Bumped at start.
PIMLICO GIRL – Overraced in the middle stages.
TEMUJIN KHAN – Hung in rounding home turn and in the straight.
Race 2: Able Seaman Billy Williams Maiden H’Cap – 1100m
IPPY GIRL – After being boxed became fractious and dislodged its rider App L. Tarrant who was examined and cleared fit to take engagement. Checked when crowded for room near the 700m.
BLAKE'S LAD – Began awkwardly.
NEVER IGNORE – Began awkwardly.
POOKIES GRIN – Hung in badly in the early and middle stages and then caused crowding near the 700. Trainer P. Facoory was advised that a warning would be placed against the mare.
START THE SHOW – Awkward at heels near the 400m. Rider L. Cassidy explained that at the horse's first start it had shown early speed but despite its awkward draw he was confident the filly would be able to take up a forward position. Jockey Cassidy stated that the filly was fractious in the gates and when the start was effected despite his riding it failed to muster early speed and consequently raced much further back than he anticipated. Jockey Cassidy added that from the 600m he placed his mount under pressure however, it did not respond as he would have liked and in his opinion was most disappointing. Trainer K. Schweida was unable to offer any tangible explanation for the disappointing performance and undertook to advise stewards of the results of veterinary and blood tests conducted in the days subsequent to the race.
MAYBE BABY – Raced wide throughout.
JUSTALITTLESPECIAL – Raced wide throughout.
Race 3: AN & MEF – Australian Naval & Military Expeditionary Force QTIS 3YO Maiden SW Plate 1200m
BUSH BOY – Galloped a considerable distance in its preliminary, was returned to the start, examined and passed fit to race. Raced 3 wide throughout.
SIR ALBERT – Slow to begin.
KNIGHTWICK MANOR – Raced wide in the early and middle stages when unable to cross runners to its inside.
TERRADNAZ – Held up in the early stages of the home straight and then again approaching the winning post.
MANANDRO GIRL – Held up final 100m.
App M McGuren (FALZINI) was fined $200.00 under AR118A for changing the boots with which he had weighed out in prior to riding in this race.
Race 4: Submarine AE1 Maiden H’Cap – 1350m
SPORT OF KINGS – Slow to begin.
SKYLAR'S STAR – Slow to begin. Restrained near the 1200m.
NOT TO KNOW – Hampered approaching the 1200m.
BURNING PAIN – Raced 3 wide throughout.
Race 5: Employment Advocacy Solutions Class 3 H’Cap – 1695m
KORTA – Raced 3 wide in the early and middle stages. Crowded when weakening near the 200m.
COLOUR CHARGE – Approaching first turn hung in onto SIR JOEL.
STUBOY – Near the 400m had to be steadied whilst hanging.
STORM PELOTARI – Held up in the early stages and then checked and shifted out near the 200m.
M Cahill reprimanded for shifting ground near the 200m.
Race 6: Cardboard Products & Services Fillies & Mares Class 3 WR 0.5kg H'Cap – 1100m
SHEEZA MYZZILE – Raced ungenerously when hampered by another runner near the 900m.
ROCK ME FAST – Held up rounding the home turn.
EXCELLENT STAR – Held up on straightening and had to be steadied from heels. Inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight.
SWEET CHILLI ROSE – Hung in in the straight.
SNEEZES – Raced wide throughout.
Race 7: Alice & Peter Lerch Colts, Geldings & Entires Class 3 H'Cap – 1100m
HOT ICE – Slow to begin.
MERCURY JET – Slow to begin. Badly held up from near the 100m.
FAVORITE SHADOW – Raced wide in the early stages. Checked to avoid heels whilst hanging in near the 200m. Again checked at the 100m when shifted in abruptly.
REQUIREMENT – Bumped near the 150m.
BUNDY – Inconvenienced near the 100m.
Race 8: Harvey Towing Benchmark 70 H'Cap – 1350m
T. Bell the rider of MOMENT OF IMPACT reported the horse began awkwardly and its saddle slipped as a result. 
SUPERCOACH – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
FRENCH COMMAND – Near the 1000m restrained when crowded for room.
DAME DESTINY – Struck the rail near the 700m when crowded by GUNDY SPIRIT.
VICE OR VIRTUE – Struck the rail near the 700m when crowded. After straightening was held up and had to be shifted out after the 200m to improve.
SALUT THE SOLUTION – Jockey C. Munce reported that the gelding hung in throughout and particularly in the home straight, consequently could not be properly tested.
J. Morris the rider of OLD FEELING was reprimanded for shifting in near the 1000m causing crowding to DANEHILL NATIVE and FRENCH COMMAND.
