C Bryant stood down because of illness he was replaced as per steward's summary sheet.
J Pujolas could not attend due to family commitments she was replaced as per steward's summary sheet.

Race 1: Aleis Pty Ltd/Jandowae Hoteliers Qtis Maiden Plate - 900m
1st – Erintee 2nd – Stylish Impulse 3rd – Optimist Prime 4th – Cluey Chloe

COUNT COUNTY (D Mo) was vetted by the club vet and cleared to start.

COUNT COUNTY slow away.

ERINTEE (I French) jumped in at the start making contact with SLIPPERY LOOKS(C Kearney).

DIAMOND DEL (L McCoy) jumped out at the start making contact with STARDUBAI (S Bayliss).

Shortly after the start LITTLE AVA (J McMinnon) shifted out making contact with ERINTEE which was taken out onto SLIPPERY LOOKS.

Approximately 800m SLIPPERY LOOKS had to be steadied to avoid the heels of ERINTEE, which shifted out.

DIAMOND DEL and LITTLE AVA made the home turn wide.

A post race veterinary examination of COUNT COUNTY failed to reveal any abnormalities.










Race 2: Dalby Business Houses Class 4 H'cap - 1100m
1st – Malita 2nd – Buckbeak 3rd – Pure Angle 4th – Picawile

PURE ANGEL (N Evans) was slow away.

BUCKBEAK (D Mo) had to be steadied at the 300m to avoid the heels of MALITA (G Geran), which shifted in.



Race 3: Memorial Race Class B H'cap - 1200m
1st – Glasgow Town 2nd - Solfege 3rd – Prussian Lass 4th – Gemini George

Stewards accepted the explanation from App G Butler who was dual engaged on GLASGOW TOWN and SWIFT DECISION. Replacement rider for GLASGOW TOWN was J McKinnon.

OUR CHARLIE (C Kearney) broke through the barriers riderless and galloped entire circuit and was a late scratching by order of stewards acting on vet advice at 2.50 pm. Subsequent to the event all monies invested on OUR CHARLIE were ordered to be refunded, with deductions of 6 cents in the dollar on the face value of win bets, 7 cents in the dollar on the face value of place bets. Trainer P Sexton representative was advised that OUR CHARLIE would be required to provide another barrier certificate prior to it’s next race start.

CLASSIC VICTOR (L McCoy) raced wide the entire event.

GEMINI GEORGE (A Sabrina) was inclined to hang out in the early stages of the event.

DIASCO (G Geran) hung out badly between the 900m and winning post putting his rider at a disadvantage. Trainer P Sexton representative was advised DIASCO will have to have official barrier trial to the satisfaction of the stewards prior to it’s next race start.

HAYIL AUGUSTUS (S Bayliss) hung out the entire event. A post-race veterinary examination of HAYIL AUGUSTUS revealed the colt to be lame in the off fore. Trainer M Connor was advised that he must provide a veterinary clearance for HAYIL AUGUSTUS prior to its next race start.


Race 4: Jandowae Cup Open H'cap - 1200m
1st – I Dared 2nd – Paradise Dancer 3rd – Picworth 4th – Henavari

HENAVARI (C Kearney) made the home turn wide.

REGAL CHARMER (C Bumstead) made the home turn wide and was inclined to hang in over the concluding stages. Shortly after the winning post REGAL CHARMER stumbled dislodging it’s rider C Bumstead. C Bumstead was attended to by ambulance and was transported to local hospital for further observation. REGAL CHARMER snapped it’s near side fetlock joint and was humanely euthanized.

Race 5: Jandowae Business Houses/Trainers Trophy Race Class 3 H'cap - 1000m
1st – Gee Whiz 2nd – Shower Upon 3rd – Lookslikekevin 4th – Nothin’leica Minto

LOOKSLIKEKEVIN (N Evans) and DE COVETOUS (D Van Bekkum) was slow into stride.

Approaching the 600m WINNING SPUR (D Llambias) had to be steadied to avoid the heels of SHOWER UPON (A Badger), which shifted in, shortly after this point WINNING SPUR was inclined to hang out across the heels of SHOWER UPON.

GEE WHIZ (G Geran) was inclined to shift in once placed under pressure over the concluding stages.
