Race 1: CHAMPION CONTRACTING/ASHCO/GROENEVELA CLASS 5 HANDICAP 1200m:
1ST-- BIKRAM 2nd – YOU’RE ON MERV 3rd – MOSSBEMAD 4th-- AUDIOLA

Jockey C.Dixon was permitted to ride BIKRAM 1.5kg overweight as there were no other riders available. Jockey Dixon was fined $100 for being overweight AR 120(b).
PICCOLO LATTE (R.Bellert) was slow to begin and lost considerable ground.
BI QUALO (D.Brown) was slow away.
NADOBE (D.Rewald) dipped shortly after the start..

Race 2: G & D BALLARD QTIS CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1400m:
1ST -- SPECIAL AURA 2nd – CRAIGLEA EDGE 3rd – NAVILLUS PICALL 4th – AUTUMN BEATS

GREENHIDE, I’M NOT GUILTY and ALL ROYAL were all scratched at 1pm as there were no riders available.
Jockey C.Dixon was permitted to ride JUNINHO 1kg overweight as there were no other riders available. Jockey Dixon was fined $100 for being overweight AR 120(b).

JUNINHO (C.Dixon) jumped awkwardly.

NAVILLUS PICALL (S.Galvin) raced greenly in the early stages and was inclined to hang out for the majority of the event.

Race 3: BARCOO SHIRE COUNCIL JUNDAH OPEN HANDICAP 1400m:
1st –REIGNING TO WIN 2nd – PALOLO DEEP 3rd – STUFF UP 4th – GESINK

Jockey C.Dixon was permitted to ride STUFF UP 4kg overweight as there were no other riders available.

STUFF UP (C.Dixon) was slow away.
REIGNING TO WIN (R.Bellert) had to be steadied off heels at approximately the 1100m.

TRIBAL SON (S.McCullum) was tightened for room at the 300m.

REIGNING TO WIN (R.Bellert) was held up for clear running at the top of the straight.

Race 4: GRAHAM MAUNSELL HILLY MAIDEN PLATE 1000m:
1st – JUBILATE 2nd – JUST READY 3rd -- PALACE DANCER 4th – VANGUARD

JUST READY (C.Dixon) slipped at the start and lost considerable ground.

HAPPY HOOLIGAN (W.Doyle) was inclined to hang out for the majority of the event. Jockey DOYLE stated that HAPPY HOOLIGAN had had enough this preparation and was due for a spell. Stewards noted his explanation.

At veterinary inspection of JUST READY revealed a broken canine tooth.

ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED.
