GO EASY JESS (G Butler) and FRISCO’S MAGIQUE (C Dixon) were both slow to begin.

Apprentice E WILSON (TATT’S ENOUGH) was found guilty of a charge under AR137(a) in that she allowed her mount to shift in near the 250m, whilst riding her mount with the whip when insufficiently clear of DYNAMITE DIXIE (D Llambias) resulting in that mare having to check and lose ground. Apprentice E Wilson’s licence was suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 meetings to commence midnight 4-11-08 and to conclude midnight 14-11-08.

A post race Vet inspection of GO EASY JESS, which finished a long last, failed to reveal any abnormalities. Following a discussion Stewards had with Trainer K Kelly on the morning of Wednesday 5 Nov. 08, it was found that GO EASY JESS was sore in the hind legs. Stewards identified Mr Kelly that GO EASY JESS would require a Veterinary Certificate of soundness prior to next start.

Stewards advised Trainer J Dixon that a warning would be placed on ESPRIT D’AMOUR for that mares barrier manners.

DEE’S PRIDE (D Mo) jumped out at the start hampering BAY MINSTREL (D McMaster).

BUTCHER BAKER (G Butler) was slow to begin.

THE TADPOLE ANGEL (C Dixon) shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.

A post race Veterinary inspection of BAY MINSTREL failed to reveal any abnormalities.

DANEGAL (G Butler) jumped out at the start hampering LAURA’S SPIRIT (C Dixon).

BISCALUCK (J McKinnon) was slow into stride.

PARADISE DANCER was forced to ease approaching the 900m when PICABLU (D Mo) crossed to the fence.

PARADISE DANCER shifted out rounding the home turn.
