Race 1 Maiden Handicap - 1000 Metres – 7 Starters
SUBJUDE (B Richardson) had to be eased leaving the 600m when SHEREE’S STAR (S Oates) shifted in slightly and HE’S STREET WISE (M Chong) shifted outwards. SHEREE’S STAR shifted out under pressure in the straight.
Race 2 Super QRIS Class 1 Handicap - 1000 Metres - 6 Starters
Just prior to the gates opening DON’T GET PERSONAL (T Austin) reared losing considerable ground.
Race 3 Class 2 Handicap - 1000 Metres- 7 Starters
Following the race trainer A Clark and apprentice C Prow indicated that they thought LERIDA ROAD had been slow to begin because of a gate malfunction. Examination of the head on video showed no sign of a gate malfunction and no action was taken. BOBSCAY (S Oates) threw its head in the air and ran wide leaving the 600m when being eased off the heels of BULLOO BELLE (M Chong)

On entering the mounting yard a large swelling was noticed on the belly of POETIC JOKER. The horse was examined both pre race and post race by the Vet who felt that it was a bite of some type and reported it to be non significant.
