BAILEY’S SPIRIT (R Barone) checked at the start when FORCE NAVARO (R Hammond) jumped outwards.
CARERA (O Galea) blundered badly as the gates opened. Approaching the 800m CARERA (O Galea) had to be eased as MR SOLO (R Graveson crossed to the fence and NEW YORK TIMES (T Brummell) followed him across. In the opinion of the stewards CARERA overreacted and no further action was taken.

Race 3 Class 5 Handicap of 1300 metres 7 Starters
AMADEO (R Barone) refused to jump and lost considerable ground. A bar was placed on that horse until it has completed a satisfactory barrier trial.
