C. Dixon was permitted to ride SAPPHIRE EXPRESS 1.5kg overweight as there was no other rider available at the time but was fined $150 under AR120(b).
SAPPHIRE EXPRESS (C. Dixon) and POLKA DOT BIKINI (S. Galvin) were both slow away.
LORDLY (R. Bellert) jumped outwards.
HAPPY HOOLIGAN (W. Doyle) was slow into stride and travelled wide from the 400m.
Race 2: L & H ELECTRICAL WHOLESALERS CLASS 5 HANDICAP 1000m:
1ST -- PAGODA 2nd – NADOBE 3rd – MOSSBEMAD 4th – GOLDEN PORTRAIT
NADOBE (D. Rewald) jumped outwards and PAGODA (R. Bellert) jumped away awkwardly both making contact with MOSSBEMAD (S. Galvin).
NOOSA BAY (W. Doyle) jumped outwards bumping COPACABANA (C. Dixon).
NOOSA BAY travelled wide from the home turn.
COPACABANA (C. Dixon) travelled wide at the top of the straight to gain clear running.
Race 3: SAUNDERS ELECTRICAL/BETTA ELECTRICAL CLASS 3 PLATE 1200m:
1st –I’M NOT GUILTY 2nd – TATYOON 3rd – INNOCENTAKE 4th – GREENHIDE
I’M NOT GUILTY (D. Rewald) jumped outwards making contact with GREENHIDE (S. Galvin).
BELLACIANO (R. Mules) travelled wide for the majority of the event.
GREENHIDE (S. Galvin) travelled wide from the home turn.
Race 4: NOEL KAVANAGH MEMORIAL CLASS B HANDICAP 1300m:
1st – LUCKY DOLL 2nd – PROFAINTY 3rd -- ROCK MATILDA 4th – RAZICREW
C. Dixon was permitted to ride PROFANITY 1kg overweight but was fined the sum of $150 under AR120(b).
TATYOON was a late scratching at 10:26 am.
KUDA ROCK was a late scratching at 12:25pm.
LUCKY DOLL (W. Doyle) was slow away and travelled wide for the majority of the event.
ROCK MATILDA (S. Galvin) travelled wide from the 400m.
PROFANITY (C. Dixon) lay in over the concluding stages and had to be steadied shortly before the line.
Race 5: ELDERS INSURANCE/SAUNDERS ELECTRICS OPEN HANDICAP 1300m:
1st – REIGNING TO WIN 2nd – KNOWN PROSPECT 3rd – PALOLO DEEP 4th -- TRIBAL SON
REIGNING TO WIN (R. Bellert), VINYL PUSHER (W. Doyle) and TRIBAL SON (R. Mules) were all slow away.
EQUITANT (D.Rewald) traveled wide for the majority of the event.
