Race 1: SJM CONTRACTING CLASS B HANDICAP 1000m:

1ST-- SAINT BELLE 2nd – NAVAJOS 3rd – YANNICKI 4th-- LUCY LOU

COLLESTRADA, LORDLY, WALLARINGA and PERFECT HOLIDAY were all scratched as there were no jockeys available.

C.Dixon was permitted to ride JUST READY 1kg overweight as there were no other riders available. Jockey Dixon was fined $50 for being overweight AR120(b).

D.Rewald was permitted to ride SISTABELLA 1kg overweight as there were no other riders available. Jockey Rewald was fined $50 for being overweight under AR120(b).

FOUR JOY (D.Simmons) jumped awkwardly and lost ground, and raced wide for the majority of the event.

YANNICKI S.McGovern) was slow away, then raced wide from the home straight.

NAVAJOS (D.Brown) was inclined to lay in for the majority of the straight.


Race 2: COOLA CARPETS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200m:
1ST -BEARTAX 2nd – CHINQUAPIN 3rd – ELECTRONIC BEE 4TH -- ASIDE

FLASH CASANOVA was scratched as there were no jockeys available.

DAD’S APPRENTICE was declared a late scratching at 1:05pm on veterinary advice.Trainer R.Simpson was advised that a Veterinary Certificate must be furnished prior to the gelding’s next start.

CHINQUAPIN (D.Simmons) was slow away.

ASIDE (S.Galvin) was slow away and was inclined to lay out for the majority of the event

Upon entering the straight the saddle shifted on VANGUARD (D.Brown) which resulted in the horse being unable to be fully tested.


Race 3: THE GORDON ’POPEYE’ SAUNDERS MEMORIAL CLASS 6 PLATE 1200m:
1st –CRAIGLEA PURSUIT 2nd – GOLDEN PORTRAIT 3rd – BIKRAM 4th – ONLY LOOKING

HAPPY NOW was a late scratching at 2:43pm on veterinary advice. Trainer R.Simpson was advised a veterinary certificate must be furnished prior to the mare’s next start.

Deductions of 6 cents in the face value of the dollar for all win bets and 5 cent in the face value of the dollars for all place bets were announced with correct weight.

GOLDEN PORTRAIT (S.Egan) jumped in and bumped CRAIGLEA PURSUIT (D.Rewald).

AUDIOLA(S.McGovern) raced wide for the majority of the event.

Race 4: O’BRIENS GARAGE CLASS3 HANDICAP 1300m:
1st – EPIC DANCER 2nd – TATYOON 3rd -- ITCHY TIGER 4th – LUCK DOLL

LUCKY DOLL (S.McGovern) raced wide from the 500m.

OLD RAWHIDE (D.Simmons) raced wide from the top of the home straight.

TATYOON (D.Brown) raced wide from the home turn.

Race 5: RM WILLIAMS/XXXX GOLD CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1600m:
