Race 1: PRO TYRES OFFICE WORKERS MAIDEN HANDICAP 800m:
1ST-- KISS AND CONTROL 2nd -- SIR IGER 3rd – CHINQUAPIN 4th-- ONE DAY

CHINQUAPIN (R. Mules) and KISS AND CONTROL (R. Hancock) bumped on jumping.
ROSELEA OSCAR (G. Steele) was slow away and jumped outwards, then continued to travel wide for the majority of the event.
ONE DAY (S. Egan) was slow away.
Upon returning to scale jockey S. Egan requested to view the footage before correct weight was given.
Approaching the 600m CHINQUAPIN laid inwards, despite the efforts of the rider, impeding ONE DAY which was steadied and lost its position in the race. Trainer R. Little advised stewards that he would experiment with a tongue tie and a different bit in the future.

Race 2: PRO TYRES TYRE CHANGES CLASS B HANDICAP 1000m:
1ST -- RYDANIC MISS 2nd – VEILED MORN 3rd – JACK’N’TAJ 4TH -- FAVCO

NAVAJOS (C. Dixon) and CRAIGLEA TURBO (S. Galvin) reared before the gates were opened and had to be settled.
WALLARINGA (R. Johnston-Bell) reared on jumping, losing ground then traveled wide for the majority of the event.
I’M NO DRAGON was slow into stride.
NAVAJOS (C. Dixon) hung out down the home straight.

Race 3: BRIDGESTONE SERVICE CENTRE CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1000m:
1st –THREE MONKEYS 2nd – SPELLO 3RD – NO OTHER WAY 4th – DECLARE

SUDDENLY SWEET (R. Johnston-Bell) was slow away.
LORDLY (D. Brown) traveled wide for the majority of the event.
DECLARE (G. Steele) drifted out down the home straight.

Race 4: PRO TYRES OPEN HANDICAP 1100m:
1st – PIGTAILS 2nd – MONCHING 3RD -- A DEPENDANT 4th – DUAL ECHELON

MANNERS PLEASE (S. Galvin) and STARBURST (R.Hancock) gates did not open and were both declared non-runners. At the announcing of correct weight , all monies were ordered to be returned and the following deductions to apply, 17 cents in the face value of the dollar in all win bets and 15 cents in the face value of the dollar in all place bets.
PIGTAILS (S. Egan) reared just prior to the gates opening causing the mare to be slow away.
BOOTOOLOO (R. Mules) jumped outwards.
PIGTAILS (S. Egan) traveled wide from the 600m.

Upon returning to scale jockey C. Dixon the rider of DUAL ECHELON requested to view the footage in the concluding stages. After reviewing the patrol footage jockey C. Dixon lodged a protest against the second placed horse MONCHING ridden by J. King. After hearing all evidence from the parties involved and viewing the patrol footage the protest was dismissed. From the evidence given and the patrol footage Apprentice Jockey J. King pleaded guilty when charged with careless riding charge under AR137(a), the particulars being that approaching the 100m he allowed his mount to shift outwards when insufficiently clear and interfering with DUAL ECHELON. Apprentice Jockey King’s licence to ride in races was suspended from midnight the 16th March 2013 up to midnight the 30th March 2013.

Apprentice King the rider of MONCHING weighed in, in excess of 1kg over the weight in which he weighed out at. After considering his explanation and taken into account the hot conditions, he was issued a penalty of $100 under AR 145.

Race 5: CENTURY BATTERY QTIS CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1200m:
1ST - SCHWEIZ 2ND - CLEAR DECISION 3RD - GOLD AGENT 4TH - ELECTRONIC BEE

ELECTRONIC BEE (R. Johnston-Bell) was slow away and slow into stride.
ROCKET WARRIOR (S. Galvin) was slow into stride and did not handle the dusty track conditions.
GOLD AGENT (C. Dixon) traveled wide from the 400m.

ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED.
