SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS:

Einasleigh Race Club Inc, Saturday 23rd of April 2011:

An inquiry was conducted into why IMA GOONDI GIRL was presented to the saddling enclosure without its approved racing gear. Trainer B Condon stated that his wife had taken the winkers off the mare at nomination time and could produce evidence to prove this fact. Mr. Condon was advised that if the required evidence was produced in a timely fashion no action would be taken.

Inquiring into another matter, in that Mr B Condon failed to present himself after being summoned by the stewards. After taking into account some mitigating circumstances, trainer B Condon was issued with a severe reprimand.

Race 1: Camp Holders/Norwest Gate/CIE PTY LTD Class 6 Plate 1000m
1st – Canhedance 2nd – General Weiland 3rd – Dragonisi 4th – Scare Tactic

GENERAL WEILAND [J Stopps] and SCARE TACTIC [M Elliott] brushed upon jumping.

When questioned regarding the performance of MAZUKA, Jockey K Rockett stated that although beginning well, from the 800m the horse was off the bit and not travelling, and despite his efforts the horse failed to finish the race off. In his opinion the horse’s lack of race fitness could have contributed to his disappointing performance. Trainer R Chillemi was also questioned regarding the performance of MAZUKA, and his explanation was accepted by stewards.

1st – Champagne Buzz 2nd – She Keeps Me Busy 3rd – Maybe Mary 4th - Picaluren

PICALUREN [J Stopps] and WORRIGEE [S Kaya] were slow to begin.

CHAMPAGNE BUZZ [K Rockett] jumped outwards at the start.

K. Stone the rider of SHE KEEPS ME BUSY, dropped his whip at the 400m.

Race 3: Kidner Contracting/Bono’s Excavation Class 1 Handicap
1st - Lawcourt 2nd – Pudzianowski 3rd – Sobo 4th – Be Advised

BE ADVISED [M Elliott] was inclined to overrace at the 1000m.

SOBO [R Ryan] was inclined to lay in around the corner and entering the home straight.

Race 4: Tirrabella Cashmere Mount Garnet Cup Open Handicap 1350m
1st – Jacob’s Trick 2nd – Destined To Reign 3rd – Keen On You 4th – Master Hugh

XAARTRIK [M Elliott] was slow to begin.

PRINCE OF SNIPPERS [R Ryan] began to overrace approaching the 1100m mark.

PRINCE OF SNIPPERS [R Ryan] raced wide in the middle stages.
