Race 1: .Gulf Western Oil QTIS Maiden Plate 1000m
1st –Exciting Era 2nd -Sassy 3rd –Another Cinderella 4th –Fresh Blood


Living On Dreams (Braydn Swaffer) was Slow Into stride. Exciting Era (Wanderson D’Avila) was inclined to hang in down the straight.

Jockey Jason Stopps rider of the 2nd placegetter Sassy, wished to view the film of the race before correct weight was given, after viewing the film jockey stopps was satisfied with the result and correct weight was declared.



Race 2: .FTE/ BLENNERSTPT/ PRIMEMOVERS CLASS 5 HANDICAP 1000M
1st –Canyon Road 2nd –Melaina Rose 3rd –Miss Rye 4th -Camphor


Canyon Road(Mark Atkinson) blundered at the start. Fleur de Baie(Ian Toward) jumped out at the start.


Race 3: SUNSHINE COAST TRUCK CENTRE CLASS B HANDICAP 1200M


1st –Special And Grand 2nd –Want To Win 3rd –Kinetic Heat 4th –Six Bob.


Jockey Graham Kliese was granted permission from stewards to forgo all his engagements due to a sudden passing in the family. Let’s See Action was a late scratching at 2:28 pm as no other rider was available. Betting Deductions were of 7 cents in the win and 8 cents in the place.


As no other rider was available Stewards permitted Jockey Kerry Rockett to ride Angel's Award 2 kilograms overweight. Kerry Rockett was fined the sum of $200- for accepting the ride for which he was found to be excessively overweight.

Angel’s Award (Kerry Rockett) blundered at the start dislodging the jockey. Jockey Rockett was examined by the Ambulance Officers & was cleared to fulfil his remaining engagements.



Race 4: BROWN & HURLEY/ QLD THERMO/ LOUIES LIQUOR CLASS 3PLATE 1200M 1st -Granity 2nd –Simple Task 3rd –Shezza Riches 4th -Albuquerque


Granity (Jason Stopps) was slow into stride. Jockey Jason Stopps replaced Jockey Graham Kliese on Granity.


Race 5: CONSOLIDATED TIN/ PARRY NISSAN/ CAMP HOLDERS CLASS1 HANDICAP 1350M


1st –Grand Assassin 2nd –Jetalong 3rd –God She’s Raunchy 4th -Offertory

Michelet (Wanderson D’Avila) blundered badly at the start.
