Late Riding Changes:

As Jockey T Bannon was late arriving on course due to transport difficulties she was substituted in the first race, substitutions were made as per the Stewards Race Day Summary.

Race 1: Freo Cranes BM 65 Handicap - 1000 metres

The first race was delayed twenty minutes when leaving the mounting yard Jockey Lait was unable to maintain control of CRAIGLEA SEAL due to him losing his nearside iron, subsequently Jockey Lait was dislodged and CRAIGLEA SEAL then has escaped the course. All horses were then recalled to the mounting yard until the riderless horse was captured. CRAIGLEA SEAL was not injured.

Stewards ordered CRAIGLEA SEAL be declared a late scratching at 1.11pm, subsequently they ordered that all bets made on CRAIGLEA SEAL be refunded in full and that the following deductions apply to bets made prior to 1.11 p.m. 27c Win and 19c place.

Scot Free – Blundered at the start, and had to be steadied at the 800m.


Race 2: Dyno Nobel BM 55 Handicap - 1170 metres

The race times for Race 2 were amended to 2.05pm.

Mrs Asia– Approximately the 800m shifted out and bumped another runner.

Kachada – Approximately the 800m was bumped by another runner.


Race 3: Link Hire & Mechanical QTIS Maiden Plate - 1170 metres

Real French Saga – When Jockey A. Butler was to be overweight Jockey D. Evans was substituted as the rider. Jockey Butler was fined $100 under A.R. 120(b).

Rapon Nicci – Approaching the 700m shifted out across the heels of another runner and bumped another runner.

Richie Rocket – Approaching the 700m was bumped by another runner and lost ground.

Race 4: - Hornery Trading Group Class B Handicap – 1400 metres

There was a delay to correct weight to allow Jockey Babarovich to view the photo finish for 2nd place. After viewing the photo Jockey Babarovich was satisfied with the judge’s placing’s and correct weight was declared.

Governo – Stood flat footed and was slow away. Inconvenienced over the concluding stages when another runner shifted out.

Twice the Price – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.

He’s a Terror – Over-raced in the early and middle stages, shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.


Race 5: Isaac Regional Council Open Handicap - 1400 metres

Fickle Business – Slow away.

Alittlebitofduey – Began awkwardly.
