RACE 1 -.XXXX CLASS 6 HANDICAP – 1050M
Wicked Burrito ( J.Stopps ) was slowly away. Approaching the 150m Wicked Burrito has taken a run to the inside of Star Master ( S.Galloway ) and then moved out under pressure brushing Star Master. A short distance later Wicked Burrito has again moved out taking Star Master out onto Kendark ( C.Beets ). Jockey Stopps was shown a film of the incident and reminded of his obligations to stop riding and straighten his mount when shifting ground.

RACE 2 –TOOHEY’S SUPER QRIS 3YO CLASS 2 HANDICAP – 1250M
Reef Stalker jumped away awkwardly. Approaching the 800m. Ginjos , which was racing greenly , lay in momentarily slightly hampering Sponge Bob ( D.Evans ).

RACE 3 –BOOMERANG HOTEL/MOTEL CLASS 2 HANDICAP – 1050M
Approaching the 500m. Spritely Girl has compounded and commenced to lose ground. Run Magic Girl ( S.Galloway ) which was racing behind this mare had to take evasive action to avoid its heels and also lost ground. Spritely Miss was inspected by the Club’s veterinary surgeon after the race and stewards accepted the advice of trainer H.Matheson that the mare will now be retired.

RACE 4 -.TF WOOLHAM CALSS 3 HANDICAP – 1050M
Inordinate stumbled as the gates opened nearly dislodging rider D.Evans and then has been ridden hard to regain a forward position in the field.

RACE 5 -KENDELL AIRLINES CLASS 4 HANDICAP – 1250M
Stymie ( W.Binder ) was slowly away. Rough Em Up ( S.Quick ) shifted out over the final 150m when under pressure. Miss Quick was reminded of her obligations to stop riding and straighten her mount under similar circumstances.




RACE 6 –.ANSETT AUSTRALIA CLASS 3 HANDICAP – 1500M
Trainer W.Payne was reprimanded for the late presentation of Rather Smart in the saddling enclosure. Rather Smart was over racing at the 1000m and had to be eased off the heels of Eire Head at this point. Approaching the 100m Eire Head has been forced to ease when taking a run to the outside of Rocky Ned and to the inside of Bennies Lane ( J.Felix )which shifted in under pressure. Jockey Felix was told to exercise care when shifting ground.

RACE 7 – SHAKESPEARE INTERNATIONAL OPEN HANDICAP – 1500M
Onslow was slowly away. Imposing Ken refused to settle in the early stages. Approaching the 300m Heavenely Cid had to ease off the heels of Don Tel Tra.
