RACE 1 XXXX CLASS 6 HCP 1500M.
NEW YORK TIMES raced ungenerously in the early stages.
DANCE AT HOME shifted in under hard riding over the concluding stages.
RACE 2 TOOHEYS CLASS 1 HCP 1500M.
D. Jones was replaced as the rider of REAL FRISKY by D. Lloyd who was permitted to ride that gelding 1.5 kgs overweight due to a lack of riders.
BRENDY BOY was slow away.
CEETU raced ungenerously in the early stages.
PARTI COLOUR, which compounded was inspected by the vet and found to have suffered an injury to its off hind pastern.
TIGER HERO was inclined to shift ground over the concluding stages and had to be straightened by its rider on several occasions.
RACE 3 MAGEES OPEN HCP 1050M.
W. Binder replaced J. Cairns who was indisposed as the rider of MAJESTIC SON.
CHIEF BULLI jumped away awkwardly.
PASSER PASSION was slow away.
Near the 900m MAJESTIC SON and CHIEF BULLI brushed and soon after MAJESTIC SON shifted in and had to be eased off the heels of KNIGHT OF STARS.
Near the 300m ITALIAN EXPRESS had to be steadied off the heels of MAJESTIC SON.
PASSER PASSION was momentarily held up in the early stages of the home straight.
RACE 4 HAHN LIGHT CLASS 4 HCP 1050M.
R. Pujolas replaced J. Cairns as the rider of NOISY CREW.
QUESADILLA & INTEGRA ROYAL jumped away awkwardly.
Near the 800m INTEGRA ROYAL shifted in and tightened the racing room of QUESADILLA.
RACE 5 TF WOOLAM MAIDEN HCP 1250M.
KINKA STAR and AVANTE GARDE made contact on jumping.
Soon after the start MILES ON and KINKA STAR made contact.
Near the 600m MATURED shifted in and struck the running rail and lost ground.
RACE 6 TW HEDLEY QTIS CLASS 2 HCP 1250M.
D. Simmons replaced J.Cairns as the rider of CAREFUL LOVE.
MYSTIC ACE, STARVITE and LA HULA BELLE were withdrawn by order of the stewards at 3.03pm due to insufficient riders.
HIP HIP HURRAH jumped away awkwardly.
ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED.
