WEATHER – FINE TRACK – DIRT RAIL – TRUE

RACE 1: CLASS B H’CAP – 1400m

POWER A PLENTY was slow to begin.

KITCH dipped on jumping and was slowly into stride.

Approaching 1200m, CALL ME ARTIE shifted out and was forced to ease from the heels of THINK UNDER.

Jockey P Clarke the rider of KITCH was questioned regarding the disappointing performance. He stated that the horse did not run on at all in the straight and tired badly.

RACE 2: MAIDEN PLATE – 1000m

TREVELYAN and WYUNA BABE were both slow to begin.

TREVELYAN shifted in at the start making contact with MEGANISSI.

NUG’S PRIDE hung out leaving the 900m causing minor inconvenience to MEGANISSI.

RACE 3: CLASS A H’CAP – 1200m

BACK IN FASHION jumped awkwardly making contact with the barriers.

BACK IN FASHION returned to scale with blood in the off side nostril. After an inspection by the clubs veterinarian it was established the origin of the blood was a small cut inside the nostril.

RACE 4: CUP OPEN H’CAP – 1200m

POVERTY ROAD and WEERIBEE were both slow to begin.

RACE 5: CLASS B H’CAP – 1000m

NAVARRA EXPRESS hung out from the home turn onwards.


THINK UNDER and POVERTY ROAD were both swabbed.
