Race 1: Surf N Turf Class B Handicap 1450 metres:
1st – TOP EAGLE 2nd – DASHING DUB 3rd – EXOTIC BOY 4th – DUSTAL

Stewards permitted C Spry to ride ONE STOP 1kg over its declared weight when no other suitable rider was available. Stewards accepted C Spry’s explanation.

INTUNE – Was fractious in the barriers then underwent a veterinary examination and was declared unfit. Acting on this advice INTUNE was a late withdrawal at 2.41pm and when correct weight was declared it was ordered that all bets made on INTUNE be refunded in full and all other successful bets placed on the race prior to 2.41pm be subject to the following deductions of 9c the win 10c the place on the face value of the betting ticket. Trainer Mr J Bawden was told that prior to INTUNE racing again a veterinary certificate of fitness must be produced.

READY TO DAZZLE – Was fractious in the barriers then raced wide on the home turn.

TOP EAGLE - Raced wide on the home turn.

DASHING DUB - Raced wide on the home turn.

BUENA VIDA – A post race veterinary examination of the mare which was beaten 26.5 lengths did not reveal any significant abnormalities

Race 2: Raps Iceworks Benchmark 65 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – PISMO BEACH 2nd – MIATOKO 3rd – DESERT SWEEP 4th – MASERFUL PLAY

Stewards permitted C Spry to ride UNLOVED 1kg over its declared weight when no other suitable rider was available.

UNLOVED – Raced wide near the 600m.

PISMO BEACH - Raced wide throughout.

MIATOKO - Raced wide throughout. A post race veterinary examination revealed a small amount of blood in the nearside nostril due to a small laceration.

Race 3: Holy Mackeral Maiden Plate 1200 metres:
1st – MR SAUVAGE 2nd – UPPITY MISS 3rd – AMP IT UP AUSSIE 4th – OLLIE OOBA

UPPITY MISS - Was slow to begin.

SEMILIGHT - Raced wide near the 800m.

OLLIE OOBA - Raced wide near the 800m.

FASHION KURV - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

MR SAUVAGE - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 4: Steak On A Plate Class 1 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – WILLIE CLANG 2nd – SOAP BOX SALLY 3rd – CHATEAU D’OR 4th – LITTLE VICTORIES

PEEKING LUCK - Was fractious in the barriers, blundered at the start, lost ground and then raced wide throughout.

LITTLE VICTORIES - Jumped inwards at the start and made contact with another runner then raced wide on the home turn.

WILLIE CLANG - Was bumped at the start.

CHATEAU D’OR - Raced wide throughout.

GAILAMOUR - Raced wide throughout.

Race 5: Iceman Open Handicap 1450 metres:
1st – ROCKET ON BY 2nd – COMMANDING SPUR 3rd – WHETSTONE 4th – WHISPERING DEATH

THE CAVALRYMAN - Blundered badly at the start and lost ground then raced wide throughout. Following the running of this race apprentice C Kropp reported that after becoming unbalanced at the start she sustained an injury to her shoulder however the ambulance officers had left the course.

COMMANDING SPUR - Raced wide on the home turn.

ROCKET ON BY - Raced wide throughout.
