Race 1: Simstock Rural Agencies Maiden Plate- 1000 metres.
1st - JUNGIRA 2nd – CLASSIC CADILLAC 3rd – LILY’S ANGEL 4th – CRAIGLEA JAGUAR
APLINE CRYSTAL (W. Doyle) and CRAIGLEA JAGUAR (R. Hancock) were both slow into stride.
CLASSIC CADILLAC (App J King) raced wide for the majority of the event.
CRAIGLEA JAGUAR raced wide from the 400 metres and hung out round the home turn and in the straight.
Race 2: Lyceum Hotel/Railway Hotel QTIS BM 65 Handicap- 1000 metres.
1st – O’NIELLO 2nd - LORDLY 3rd – EQUITANT 4th - COLLESTRADA
Apprentice J. King was stood down from riding by ambulance officers due to illness. A medical certificate of fitness will be required prior to his next riding engagements.
R. Mules was the replacement rider for EQUALES.
D. Rewald was permitted to ride COME PREPARED half a kilogram overweight due to no other available riders.
COCK A HOOP (W. Doyle) jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride.
COLLESTRADA (J. Long) hung throughout.
COME PREPARED resented the dusty track conditions.
Race 3: Barcaldine Regional Council/Muttaburra Vet Services Class 5 Handicap- 1200 metres.
1st – DANA DANCER 2nd – VEILED MORN 3rd – POWER SOURCE 4th – CRAIGLEA RAWIE
BOLD AUSSIE was a late scratching at 2.00pm due to no other rider available for App J King.
POWER SOURCE (R. Mules) blundered at the start.
MASATAKA (J. Long) was slow into stride.
DANA DANCER (R. Faehr) raced wide for the majority of the event.
NO OTHER WAY (D. Rewald) raced wide from the 400 metres.
Race 4: Coleman Stockfeeds/ Topx Longreach Class b Handicap- 1200 metrs .
1st - SPIFFING 2nd – FOUR JOY 3rd – ZAMBEZI SUN 4th - MAZOT
DEVIOUS MAN was a late scratching at 2.00pm due to no available rider for App J .King.
BECKONED STAR (W. Doyle) broke through the barrier, cast for a short period, before being backed out by attendants. A veterinary inspection passed the gelding to race.
Jockey J Long was dislodged from SPIFFING behind the barrier and galloped for a short distance, was recaptured and when underwent a veterinary inspection, clearing the horse to start.
R. Faehr was dislodged when behind the barriers, and was cleared by ambulance officer to fulfil is engagement.
BECKONED STAR was slow to begin.
NETT (App G Steele) raced wide in the early stages of the race.
SPIFFING raced wide throughout.
Race 5: Muttaburra Shop & Fuel/ P.D Turnbull Water Truck Hire Muttaburra Open- 1400 metres .
1st - PRIMED 2nd – SECRETS 3rd -JETHRO 4th - LUCASAM
PIGTAILS was a late scratching at 2.00pm due to no replacement rider for App J King.
D. Rewald was permitted to rider CRAIGLEA PURSUIT half a kilogram overweight due to no other available riders.
SECRETS (R. Mules) raced wide from the 500 metres.
