SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT
Race 1 was put back 15 minutes to give jockeys M Abe and App N Nishio time to arrive on course.

Race 1: Beach Energy, Terrex Seismic & Santos Maiden Plate- 1100m
1st – Wayward Attact 2nd – Go Wushka 3rd – Hawaii Moon 4th – Head On It

POKINALONG (M Abe) proved difficult to load and delayed the start. Trainer T Mead was advised that a warning would be placed on POKINALONG for it’s barriers manners.

DISLOCATOR (C Bryen) hung out badly during the event resulting in jockey C Bryen having to ease out of the race. Connections of DISLOCATOR were advised that a barrier trial would be required before it’s next race start.

CASINO MERCALDI (W Glass) dipped badly at the start.

Race 2: Toowoomba Truck Sales/Brown Hurley Class B H’cap- 1100m
1st – My Belief 2nd – Mccaskell 3rd – Regal Prince 4th – Treasure Mountain

PARRAGUNDY was a late withdrawal at 12.20pm acting on vet’s advice. Trainer J Hatch was advised that a vet certificate would be required prior to it’s next race start. Deductions were not required as betting had not commenced.

TREASURE MOUNTAIN (K Adams) was restless in the barriers.

FORGOTTEN MELODY (D Brown) and MCCASKELL (W Glass) were slow in to stride.



Race 3: Coca Cola Amatil Class B H’cap- 1350m
1st – Ignoredaleg 2nd – Zandaful 3rd – Captains Will 4th – Tinkerman

The declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow Jockey W Glass, the rider of TINKERMAN to view the official photo finish. Subsequently stewards declared correct weight.

TINKERMAN (W Glass) and IGNOREDALEG (M Abe) were slow into stride.

Race 4: Elders Quilpie Newmarket H’cap- 1100m
1st – Tennessee Blue 2nd – Adriatic Ocean 3rd – Manners Please 4th – Lucky Duke

MANNERS PLEASE (W Glass) was inclined to lay out over the concluding stages of the event.

Race 5: The Brisbane Business Group Quilpie Cup H’cap- 1350m
1st – Flying Along 2nd – Cash In A Hurry 3rd – Decerto

No racing incidents.

Race 6: The Bill Costello Memorial Qtis Class 4 H’cap- 1200m
1st _ Monte Pegasus 2nd – Fasmar 3rd- I’ll Call You Back 4th – Labelled Urgent

EARTH TO DAWN (M Abe) jumped with it’s head in the air at the start.
