SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS:

Race 1: PLUTO PASTORAL COMPANY MAIDEN PLATE. 1100 Metres. (4 Starters).
1st – BRUCE IN THE SUIT 2nd - COGNAC DIAMOND 3rd – KISSENGARNI
4th – DEHERE SHE COMES

Stewards allowed D. Ballard to ride DEHERE SHE COMES 1.5kgs overweight as no other suitable jockey was available in the circumstances.

IMATRICKSTER was a scratching owing to an injury and Trainer Mr. C. Hampton provided a Veterinary Certificate to that effect. He was advised that a Veterinary Certificate of Fitness will be required before IMATRICKSTER can start again.

Jockey T. Hill was interviewed as to the performance of KISSENGARNI which finished third. Rider advised he was required to ride hard to get to the lead and rounding the home turn the gelding had shifted outwards and put in a few rough strides, which he believed was due to the state of the track where graded loose dirt converged with the hard ungraded surface. The explanation was noted.


Race 2: SPAR SUPERMARKET CLASS B HANDICAP. 1100 Metres. ( 5 Starters).
1st - PALCONI 2nd - EXOTIC BOY 3rd - WAYNE 4th – HEINOUS
EXOTIC BOY (R. Sue-San) jumped sharply inwards at the start across the running oif HEINOUS (Apprentice J. Kuskopf), but did not interfere with HEINOUS, as that gelding had been slowly away.

LORD BENJAMIN (T. Brummell) jumped into the air at the start and raced wide rounding the 600 metre turn.

HEINOUS and LORD BENJAMIN both raced wide rounding the home turn.


Race 3: SUNCORP METWAY BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP. 1400 Metres. (5 Starters).
1st - ABSOLUTE KING 2nd - WHO’S LISTENING 3rd - RAPID LEICA JACKO
4th – SIR JAYSTIN

R. Sue –San rode RAPID LEICA JACKO and T. Hill rode WHO’S LISTENING.

SIR JAYSTIN (Apprentice J. Kuskopf) raced wide throughout.

RAPID LEICA JACKO raced wide rounding the home turn.


Race 4: CROSBY, BROSNAN & CREEN OPEN HANDICAP. 1400 Metres. ( 4 Starters).
1st - ABDICATED 2nd - SURPASSER 3rd - REPEAT OFFENDER 4th – STELLAR SHOW

STELLAR SHOW raced wide throughout.

Race 5: RICHMOND MOTORS CLASS 6 PLATE. 1000 Metres. ( 5S Starters).
1st - ALPHA STAR 2nd - HARDHEADED 3rd - OLD FLAME 4th – DESERT SWEEP

BORIS was a late scratching at 12.20pm by order of Stewards acting on Veterinary advice owing to an injury to the left front fetlock. A Veterinary Certificate to that effect was provided dated 27th October, 2012. . The Stable Foreman was advised a Veterinary Certificate of fitness is required before BORIS can race again. A further Veterinary Certificate of Fitness, (dated 26th October, 2012), advising that BORIS was fit to race was provided, this emanated from the horse being a late scratching at Julia Creek on 22nd September, 2012 when suffering from an injured tail.

HARDHEADED (D. Ballard) raced wide rounding the home turn.

Veterinary Certificates. Race One. IMATRICKSTER was scratched owing to an eye injury , Veterinary Certificate produced. – Further Veterinary Certificate of Fitness required before starting again.

Race Five. A Veterinary Certificate of Fitness (Injured Tail from Julia Creek meeting on 22/9/2012 was provided in repect to BORIS being fit to start. However, a further Veterinary Certificate advising that BORIS was now unfit to start owing to an in jury to front left fetlock. A further Veterinary Certificate of Fitness will now be required before BORIS can start again.
