General: An enquiry into the handling of SILVER SAILS in the Class 3 Handicap on 28/5/2004 was concluded on 10th June 2004. Further evidence was taken from trainer N Mannion and jockey D Johnston. After straightening the horse was inconvenienced as the field spread and was forced to race wider than had been anticipated. No action was taken but stewards advised trainer N Mannion that they would monitor the horse’s future performances.
