Race 1: PRIMIX NUTRITION Class 3 Handicap - 1600 metres

1st: KOHAYA 2nd: LION DOWN 3rd: FOB POCKET 4th: MISHAEL
No racing incidents.

Race 2: DECTOMAX Class 1 Handicap - 1400 metres

1st: HEADPHONE (NZ) 2nd: COVER MY TRACKS 3rd: WESTON LAKE 4th: COLONIAL BILL
DIFFERENTIAL jumped out and GOLD TRUCE jumped in at the start, crowding the running of COLONIAL BILL, WESTON LAKE, LADY FLICK and HEADPHONE (NZ).
CLAUSETTA was slow into stride.
After leaving the 300 metres, COLONIAL BILL shifted in abruptly onto LADY FLICK.
At approximately the 200 metres, HEADPHONE (NZ), when trying to secure a run, has shifted out, taking DIFFERENTIAL and SIR ALISTER wider on the track.

Race 3: IVOMEC POUR ON Maiden Plate (S/W) – 1300 metres

1st: MUSIC MAKER 2nd: GO JACK 3rd: SYDNEY JACK 4th: GENERAL ARTHUR
UNIQUE ASCOT jumped out onto MUSIC MAKER, forcing that horse onto KAAPTURED, resulting in that horse dipping and losing ground.
Apprentice T Matheson (MR FELIX (NZ) was severely reprimanded for allowing her mount to shift out when insufficiently clear of FLIP HOSE at about the 350 metres.


Race 4: ELANCO COMPUDOSE Class 2 Handicap - 1200 metres

1st: TARA’S SONG 2nd: NO MORE DREAMS 3rd: GOLD SPINNER 4th: MAKE MINE GEORGE
Prior to Race 4, stewards and a delegation of jockeys inspected the track and deemed the track to be safe for racing.
Trainer T Cook was fined the sum of $50 under the terms of LR70 for failure to notify jockey by prescribed time.
Due to SHE’S VICTORIOUS being in the care of trainer D Vale for this meeting, D Vale’s colours were inadvertently used on that horse.
COP SHOP jumped awkwardly and in.
GOLD SPINNER was slowly away.
When questioned about the improved performance of TARA’S SONG, Trainer T Cook stated that he was the new trainer of TARA’S SONG. In his opinion the horse always had ability, he had changed his training pattern and the horse had been working well leading up to this race. Explanation noted.

Race 5: MITAVITE Class 4 Handicap - 1000 metres

1st: MOMENTUM 2nd: HOULAHAN 3rd: BIANCA’S HERO 4th: RORY’S NORTH
PARIS MAIZ jumped in onto GREEN JACKET at the start.
HOULAHAN jumped in the air at the start.
BIANCA’S HERO shifted out over the concluding stages when placed under pressure.

Race 6: ACATAK POUR ON Open Handicap - 1000 metres
1st: TYCOON TED 2nd: MIGHTY STRONGHOLD 3rd: CHIEF HARMONY 4th: DARING MISS
Trainer in charge of TIO RAMA C Dore was fined $50 - AR140B(2), for presenting TIO RAMA with incorrect gear.
TYCOON TED jumped out and made contact with THE FALCON at the start.
LIFE’S FORTUNE jumped in the air at the start.
At approximately the 200 metres, LIFE’S FORTUNE was held up for clear running, when TIO RAMA shifted out marginally, and KALINGA HERO shifted in marginally.
At approximately the 100 metre mark, LIFE’S FORTUNE and CATERER had to be checked when TIO RAMA shifted out, and at the same time, KALINGA HERO was tiring and shifted out.
After leaving the 400 metres, KALINGA HERO shifted in marginally, resulting in LIFE’S FORTUNE making contact with TIO RAMA.
Jockey G Booth (DARING MISS) was reminded of his responsibilities when riding his mounts out to the finish line.
Apprentice C Pay (TIO RAMA) accidentally dropped his whip at the 100 metres.
