SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT
All races were delayed 20 minutes due to track conditions.
Race 1: Racetree Thoroughbreds Plate- 1200m
1st – Coronado 2nd – Snip Of Rory 3rd – Pipeliner 4th – Money In Hand
On arrival to the barriers FLEUR DE LAURA (R Kerwin) was found to be lame in the near fore leg, acting on vets advice FLEUR DE LAURA was a late scratching at 1.46pm. Trainer B Waldron was advised a vet clearance would be required prior to its’ next race start. On announcement of correct weight, stewards ordered that all money’s invested on FLEUR DE LAURA be refunded with the deductions of 26 cents in the dollar for the win, and 19 cents in the dollar for the place on the face value of the win and place tickets applicable.
ROYCE’S CHOICE (T Ide) was slow into stride.
SNIP OF RORY (R Ride) jumped out at the start taking PIPELINER (D Rewald) out onto ROYCE’S CHOICE.
MONEY IN HAND (R Cox) raced wide throughout.
Race 2: Nab Agribusiness Class 1 H’cap- 1200m
1st – Love A Sequalo 2nd – Craiglea Gal 3rd – The Gadget Man 4th – Chicken Dinner
PICCOLO KNIGHT (R Cox) was slow into stride.
Race 3: Zonta Class 3 H’cap- 1000m
1st – Frostinoss 2nd – Craiglea Ice 3rd – All For Rome 4th – Champagne Pink
No racing incident.
Race 4: Ladies Day Class B H’cap- 900m
1st – North Ossetia 2nd – Alanort 3rd – She’s Dreamin’ 4th – Our Young Lass
CORSA CAVALLO (R Ride) was slow into stride.
Race 5: Rbs Morgans H’cap- 1640m
1st – Mount Vernon 2nd – Bruncher 3rd – Scuderia 4th – Tszyu
Correct weight was delayed while stewards ascertained whether GOLD MOUNT (K James) had been afforded a fair start. Upon the stewards and connections viewing the film, it was found that GOLD MOUNT had jumped awkwardly and outwards, resulting in GOLD MOUNTS rider K James loosing her left iron. In conclusion it was ascertained that GOLD MOUNT was declared a fair start. Stewards declared correct weight.
BRUNCHER (L Henry) was slow into stride.
MOUNT VERNON (K Gates) and GOLD MOUNT raced wide throughout.
