CRAIGLEA ICE (M. Heagney) was slow to begin.

Leaving the 800m, MARG’S GOLD (J. Piper) commenced to lay out, resulting in HAWK HUNTER (M. Hughes) shifting out and away from that filly and making contact with TEEYORA (A. Best). As a result, BANNETT was also forced wider on the track, resulting in REAL GOOD THING (A. Spinks), which was following, having to be steadied from that runner’s heels.

HAYLEE MISS (N. Yamada) raced wide for the majority of the event.

A post-race veterinary examination of BANNETT failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.

Race 2: Sunshine Coast Daily Plate 3yo & Up Maiden H'cap – 1600m
1st – Oceans Of Fire 2nd – Biscays Best 3rd – Esbend 4th – Bramble Bay

Heagney), which were following, were both steadied as a consequence. BISCAYS BEST continued to lay in until nearing the 400m. Trainer R. Bradshaw was advised that a warning would be placed on BISCAYS BEST regarding its racing manners.
