Race 1: La Promenade Resort Maiden H'cap - 1800m
1st – Ruffino 2nd – Hear The Beat 3rd – Golden Palms 4th – Moringa’s Sundance

SISTERON (S. Galloway) and RUFFINO (B. Stewart) were slow into stride.

MORINGA’S SUNDANCE (N. Thomas) and GOLDEN PALMS (O. Turpin) bumped near the 300m.

THEREABOUTS (J. Hoopert) raced wide throughout.

Jockey S. Galloway reported to stewards following the race that SISTERON shortened stride over the final 200m and felt awkward in its action. Trainer A. Williamson was advised that he would be required to provide a veterinary clearance for SISTERON prior to its next race start.

Race 2: Coastal Effect Rendering P/L H'cap - 1800m
1st – Figasaurus 2nd – Telestah La Vistah 3rd – Music Maesto 4th – Farmer Don

WITH ELEGANCE (G. Goold) began awkwardly.

Near the 1300m, MUSIC MAESTRO (J. Hoopert) improved up onto the heels of TELESTAH LA VISTAH (M. Hellyer) and was steadied.

ENTERPRISE STAR (A. Pattillo) raced wide until a point near the 1000m where the gelding assumed the leading position.
G. Goold, rider of WITH ELEGANCE, was severely reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift in near the 800m when not sufficiently clear of TELESTAH LA VISTA (M. Hellyer), which was taken in across the running of STRIKING ROSE (B. Richardson), causing that runner to be steadied.

FIGASAURUS (R. Wiggins) was held up leaving the 600m until nearing the 250m.

Race 3: Steve Venn – LJ Hooker Caloundra Class 2 H'cap - 1800m
1st – Count Romano 2nd – Church Lane 3rd – Two Times 4th – Ocean Sunset

As the start was effected, OUR GOLD STASH (A. Kitson) reared and lost considerable ground.

BINRASY (L. Cumberland) and NASSAVETTE (L. Cheshire) were both slow to begin.

NASSAVETTE and OUR GOLD STASH (A. Kitson) overraced in the early stages.

L. Cheshire reported that NASSAVETTE laid in under pressure from the 400m onwards.

Shortly after entering the home straight, K. Gates, rider of AREDIAN STAR, dropped her whip.

T. Huxham, rider of CHURCH LANE, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding, in that over the concluding stages he permitted his mount to shift out whilst riding along vigorously when not sufficiently clear of TWO TIMES A LADY, which contributed to interference to that runner. T. Huxham was suspended from riding in races for a period covered by 5 meetings, to commence at midnight, 13 November and to expire at midnight, 20 November.

M. Hellyer, rider of COUNT ROMANO, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding in that over the concluding stages he permitted his mount to shift in whilst being ridden along vigorously when not sufficiently clear of TWO TIMES A LADY, which contributed to interference to that runner. 6 meetings, to commence at midnight, 18 November and to expire at midnight, 25 November.



Race 4: Let Loose In Caloundra Fashion & Bling Maiden Plate - 1000m
1st – Maggie Jack 2nd – Flash Of Luck/Zantaro 4th - Sequalo

HOSPITAL NURSE was examined by the veterinary surgeon at the barriers and cleared to race.

MASTER FORESHORE (T. Harrison) began awkwardly and shifted out, making contact with VAN ROBERTO (L. Cumberland), which was a little slow to begin.

ZANTARO (K. Gates) was slow to begin.

B. Stewart, rider of FLASH OF LUCK, was severely reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift out near the 400m, which resulted in POP’S CHOICE (N. Thomas) having to be steadied when tightened out on to SEQUALO STORM (M. Hellyer).

POP’S CHOICE lost its off hind plate in running.




Race 5: Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation QTIS 3you Class 1 H'cap - 1000m
1st – Zed Man 2nd –Skater Dude 3rd – Shadow Princess 4th – Veysonnaz

GOTTA BE LUCKY (A. Kitson) was slow to begin.

SHADOW PRINCESS (N. Thomas) knuckled at the start.

Both ZED MAN (G. Killen) and SILVAKINI (S. Arnold) hung out between the 800m and 400m.

SKATER DUDE lost its near hind plate in running.


Race 6: King Of Knives Sunshine Coast Maiden Plate - 1270m
1st – Sheez Keen 2nd – Gorgeous Goldie 3rd – Once Bitten 4th – Idle Minds

IDLE MINDS (J. Hoopert) and KENTARO (G. Killen) were slow to begin.

SHEEZ KEEN (A. Pattillo) began to overrace during the middle stages and at a point near the 1000m was steadied when it improved on to the heels of ZERO SET (B. Stewart).

At the same stage, ONCE BITTEN (C. Small) commenced to overrace and was steadied when racing in restricted room to the inside of WEEDREAMED (S. Galloway).

S. Galloway, rider of WEEDREAMED, reported his mount hung out from the 700m until leaving the 300m.

BUCKET OF CASH (G. Goold) raced wide throughout.

Post race veterinary examinations of ZERO SET and WEEDREAMED (S. Galloway), both of which compounded in the home straight, failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.


Race 7: Searles Garden Products Class 3 H'cap – 1270m
1st – So Dominant 2nd – Exiled 3rd – Love That Chick 4th – Federer Express

LOVE THAT CHICK (R. Hancock) and SARGASSO (N. Thomas) were slow to begin.

Near the 750m, SO DOMINANT (L. Cheshire) had to be steadied to avoid the heels of STALWART EMMA (J. Hoopert), which shifted in.

FEDERER EXPRESS (C. Small) and EL CONDE (S. Galloway) raced wide in the early stages.

LOVE THAT CHICK (R. Hancock) had difficulty obtaining clear running during the early stages of the home straight.

NERO’S FIRE (G. Killen) was held up for clear running from approaching the 300m and went to the line without being fully tested.


Race 8: Now Racing Friday Nights At SCTC Class 1 H'cap – 1270m
1st – Hi Jo Silver 2nd – Kolo 3rd – Kong Kristian 4th –Star Giggle

THEATRE PRINCE was declared a late scratching at 3.05 pm after being injured en route to the track.

FRIENDLY MUSIC (C. Priest) was slow to begin.

During the middle stages, KONG KRISTIAN (B. Richardson) was awkwardly placed at the heels of STAR GIGGLE (G. Goold).

G. Goold, rider of STAR GIGGLE, reported that her mount hung out rounding the home turn.

K. Gates, rider of STALWART WOMAN, dropped her whip near the 200m and at the same stage shifted out, inconveniencing KONG KRISTIAN.
