Race 1: Woods Tyre Service QTIS Maiden Plate- 1100 metres
1st MY SHOUT 2nd ROSIE’S BON BON 3rd BIG YIN 4th- DELANNIKA

OUR LUCILLE was difficult to load. Trainer R Vagg was advised that a warning would be placed on OUR LUCILLE.

ROSIE’S BON BON (N Patchett) and DELANIKKA (D Simmons) were slow away.

Jockey D Simmons reported that DELANIKKA showed no early speed and was ridden hard for the majority of the event.


Race 2: Dow-Agroscience Class 2 Handicap- 1100 metres
1st MEAN MACHINE 2nd RYTARGA 3rd TERMS 4th- SAINT BELLE

SAINT BELLE (A Kitson) was slow away.

RYTARGA (B Floyd) raced wide throughout.

N Patchett, rider of MEAN MACHINE, was reprimanded for using his whip more than 5 times prior to the 100m.

Race 3: Pacific Seeds/Ospray PTY LTD/Westpac Class 5 Handicap- 1000 metres
1st– EXALTED MOLLIE 2nd FRAHA 3rd TALKING NONSENSE 4th- RAZOR GANG

RAZOR GANG (N Patchett) raced wide throughout.

Approaching the 400m turn FRAHA (C Pye) was inclined to lay out.

Stewards sought an explanation regarding the performance of GAMBLE IN GOLD. Apprentice A Kitson stated that the mare raced flat and was of the opinion that she did not handle the weight. Trainer G Bell stated that it was her intention to retire the mare. A post race examination of GAMBLE IN GOLD revealed no abnormalities.
Race 4: Callaghan Park Class 6 Plate- 1400 metres
1st JOE KWILA 2nd CALLY GREENLAKE 3rd GETAWAY PLAN 4th – HUNTING LODGE

SEEKAWINNER (S McCullum) raced wide in the early and middle stages.

Race 5: Minerva Mine/Mahadys Transport Class B Handicap- 1400 metres
1st NORDIC WARRIOR 2nd MASTER NICK 3rd MARAUDING HILL 4th- WONDER WIZARD

A pre race inspection of MASTER NICK revealed no abnormalities.

MARAUDING HILL (D Simmons) was slow away.

NORDIC WARRIOR (B Floyd) raced wide in the early stages.
