Race 1: QUEENSLAND RACING DROUGHT SUPPORT CLASS B HANDICAP 800 METRES. 7 STARTERS.
1st - STAR OF JUGAH 2nd - INDOLLARGENCE 3rd - BENDIS 4th - FRED ‘N’ GINGER
Cheryl Rogers replaced D Monaghan as rider of DEIFY due to non arrival of Jockey D Monaghan. Carmel Baker replaced Cheryl Rogers as rider of GOT THE POWER as no other rider was available at the time.
GOT THE POWER (C Baker) reared on leaving the Barrier and bucked during the early stages resulting in the mare being pulled up at about the 650M.mark. GOT THE POWER was subsequently suspended from further starts until it has satisfactorily trialed under race conditions to Stewards satisfaction.
Race 2: .TOYOTA LANDCRUISER MAIDEN PLATE 1200 METRES. 6 STARTERS.
1st - MARY KNOW 2nd - SOUL KING 3rd - IT’S MY GOLD 4th - TINTED ARROW
HEART OF DIVA underwent a Vet check prior to racing and was cleared to start. HEART OF DIVA (S Oates) was difficult to load and was unruly in the Barrier, getting down on its hind quarters. The mare was removed from the Barrier and withdrawn as a starter. Betting adjustments were announced prior to correct weight.
App.Corey Gilby replaced D Monaghan as rider of SOUL KING due to D Monaghan’s non arrival at the Track.
Race 3: .TOYOTA HILUX QTIS CLASS 5 HANDICAP 1200 METRES. 5 STARTERS.
1st - RAQEEB 2nd - KING CORONA 3rd - HI CATARUN 4th - ROCK YOUR BODY
RAQEEB underwent a Vet check prior to racing as result of a cut across the bridge of its nose and was cleared to start.
Cheryl Rogers replaced D Monaghan as rider of RAQEEB due to D Monaghan’s non arrival at Track.
HE’S PROWLING was reluctant to load and was slow away.
Race 4: .BLACK TOYOTA CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1400 METRES. 9 STARTERS
1st - JUST DIFFERENT 2nd - EXPRESS FORCE 3rd - LUST FOR VICTORY 4th - SPINOUT
RUSSIAN GUN was a late scratching due to no rider being available. No incidents in running.
Race 5: .TOYOTA CAMRY AND RAV 4 CLASS 3 PLATE 1400 METRES. 6 STARTERS.
1st - SAVANNAH ROAD 2nd - COUNTY JACK 3rd - BABY TOD 4th - LOVE AND GOLD(NZ)
