As Apprentice S Galvin was indisposed the following replacements were permitted.
Race 2: Storm Minstrel H Hamada
Race 4: Strained Relations S Van Klaveren
REPRIMANDS:
Race 1: X Smith Failure to weigh in for fourth.
Race 3: D Rewald Shifting Out.
RACE 1: BILL JOYNSON MEMORIAL CLASS 6 PLATE – 1000m
Approaching the 300m RAPADAMA was inclined to hang out forcing MAJOR DILEMMA wider on the circuit.
Apprentice X Smith was issued with a reprimand for failing to weigh in for fourth.
RACE 2: BILL KEHL MEMORIAL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1000m
Shortly after the start RIBBON BELLS commenced to hang out resulting in LAPUNYAN to cover additional ground and over race.
LORD SPARROW commenced to race erratically leaving the 850m.
RIBBON BELLS raced greenly throughout.
RACE 3: OWEN BRODIE MEMORIAL OPEN H'CAP – 1200m
On rounding the home turn FLYING FEATHERS shifted out abruptly resulting in MAKE NO MISTAKE easing momentarily. At a subsequent inquiry D Rewald was issued with a reprimand for permitting his mount to shift out when insufficiently clear.
RACE 4: BOB SCOTT MEMORIAL CLASS B H'CAP – 1200m
LUDLOW LAD was inclined to hang out rounding the home turn impeding the racing room of CAWDOR CROW.
RACE 5: DES JOHNSON MEMORIAL CLASS 3 H'CAP – 1400m
No racing incidents to report.
