RACE 1: LEICHHARDT EXPO MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M.

ENGLISH MOON, which was slowly away, was held up for clear running over the last 150m.

Near the 700m MOSSMAN’S DAUGHTER was eased when tightened for room by PLAY BALL (T Banks), which shifted in. T Banks was advised of his obligations when his mount is shifting ground.

Near the 700m IMPRESSIVE ACE was checked when tightened for room by PICCOLODEAN (C Bumstead), which shifted in. C Bumstead was advised of her obligations when her mount is shifting ground.

Time off 1.31 PM.

RACE 2: BRANDON & ASSOCIATES PTY LTD CLASS 6 H'CAP – 1000M.

T Banks (MING SPECIAL) was dislodged when his mount reared in the barriers.

SEAHAWK DANCER was slowly away.

SUNRISE ROAD hung in over the concluding stages.

Time off 2.10 PM.

RACE 3: LEICHHARDT HOTEL TAROOM CUP H'CAP – 1400M.

The start of the race was delayed whilst Apprentice C Bumstead who had an asthma attack was transported to hospital.
D McMaster (JUST GUS) replaced C Bumstead.

DREAM OUT LOUD was slowly away.

A Veterinary examination of SPLENDID BABY on arriving at the barriers cleared the mare to start.

SPLENDID BABY (F Critch) lost ground when jumping away awkwardly.

F Critch, who injured her foot when her mount jumped away awkwardly, was cleared by the ambulance officer to fulfil her remaining engagements.

Time off 2.57 PM.

RACE 4: WATTLE BRAE STUD DOWNS SERIES CLASS 4 H'CAP – 1200M.

D McMaster (KISS AND FLY) replaced C Bumstead.

RORY’S ROC was difficult to load.

WINDAMINGLE jumped with its head in the air.

Time off 3.32 PM.

RACE 5: TAROOM WELDING & STEEL CLASS B H'CAP – 1200M.

D McMaster (DAY OFF) replaced F Critch who was stood down on medical advice after riding in the previous event.

Time off 4.10 PM.
