WEATHER:. FINE TRACK: GOOD
RACING
RACE 1 CLASS 2 HCP.1075 METRES - (6 STARTERS):. FLAT (M. Lehmann) jumped away awkwardly after striking the barrier gate.
RACE 2 CLASS 6 HCP. 1075 METRES - (7 STARTERS):. Shortly after entering the home straight AGILE KING (M. Lehmann) raced in restricted room between BASILLIO (M. Evans) and KNUCKLED UP (W. Welburn).
RACE 3 OPEN HCP.1300 METRES - (9 STARTERS): JUST STYLE (M. Evans) hung out rounding the 800 metre turn and as a result forced DASHING EXPRESS (M. Lehmann) wider on the track.
RACE 4 CLASS 4 HCP.1200 METRES - (10 STARTERS):. FIANDER (M Lehmann) jumped in at the start and made contact with BENNIHI. When being corrected FIANDER shifted out and hampered JUGLIMO.
Approaching the 800 metres CAMPBELL PARADE (M. Unwin) had to be steadied momentarily off the heels of SPLENDID SCORE (J. Stephens).
M. Hutton the trainer of CAMPBELL PARADE was fined the sum of $25 for presenting the gelding to the enclosure without a nose roll.
RACE 5 MAIDEN HCP. 800 METRES – (7 STARTERS): STARLIT PASS (S. Quick) was inclined to race greenly in the early stages.
BOOKMAKERS: Three bookmakers fielded at the race meeting.
SWABBING: All winners were sent to be swabbed and those obtained forwarded to the Racing Science Centre for routine analysis.
