STEWARDS PANEL: Mr G Wust (Chairman).

WEATHER – Fine TRACK – Good.

RACE 1: MAIDEN H'CAP - 800 METRES (8 STARTERS)

Instant Karma (M Lehmann) and Encosta Su (C Clarke) were slow into stride.
No further racing incidents to report.

RACE 2: CLASS 4 H'CAP - 1200 METRES (4 STARTERS)

Grey Commander (C Clarke) commenced to hang outwards from the 1000 mtr turn and continued until straightening at approx the 200 mtrs.
No further racing incidents to report.

RACE 3: OPEN H'CAP - 1200 METRES (6 STARTERS)

Total Glance (M Barham) and Fiander (C Clarke) were slow away. Shortly before the line Fiander shifted inwards under pressure and had to be straightened to avoid contact with Cardinia (L Timson).

RACE 4: CLASS 6 H'CAP - 1075 METRES (5 STARTERS)

No racing incidents to report.

RACE 5: CLASS 2 H’CAP - 1075 METRES (6 STARTERS)

Cloudy Row (App G Bannister) laid inwards abruptly rounding the home turn and Subsequently placed Green Rules (M Lehmann) in restricted racing room which resulted in Green Rules losing his position in running.
Cloudy Row again shifted inwards at approx the 100 mtrs when insufficiently in advance of Beyond Success (C Clarke). Beyond Success was obliged to shift outwards marginally to avoid the heels of Cloudy Row. Apprentice G Bannister was reprimanded by stewards in that he did not take sufficient measures to keep Cloudy Row racing truly after the mare had shown signs of her inclination to shift inwards down the running.

SWABBING
Routine samples were taken from all winners and forwarded to the racing science centre for analysis.
