GENERAL:
Trainer Shane Brown lodged an official complaint with regard to a “mistake” with reference to the ballot order in a Class 6 Plate having been changed after it was published and his partner, jockey L Timson, was then unable to secure a ride in the race as his horse, WITH INTENT, was eliminated after being published at number one. Mr Brown was advised to place the matter in writing and forward it to the handicapping department for clarification.
Due to power problems the scales were used on battery. Scales were calibrated on 18/4/2005.
