GENERAL
An inquiry was reconvened into the incident in Race 7 the Class 2 Handicap of 1400 metres on 5/6/99, to determine the reason why HULA MISS ( J Ramsden) fell at about the 850, and as a consequence TROPICAL MORN fell over the fallen horse causing jockey P Cullen to be dislodged. After considering evidence and viewing the film Stewards determined that HULA MISS ridden by Jockey Ramsden had got up onto the heels of ROAD TO LAMOUR (R Gallacher) and as a consequence, fell. No other rider was responsible for the incident.
