RACE 1 CLASS 5 HANDICAP 1980 METRES 7 STARTERS
At the start: JUST SLIDE (R Moses) was fractious in the Barriers and when a start was effected reared and lost ground. RECONCILE (F Edwards) and SYBERITE (P Wolfgram) came together as the gates opened. Approaching the home turn, RECONCILE was held up for a clear run. An inquiry was held into an incident at about the 950, Jockey’s D Sewell, LOVE THAT MOON, R Moses, JUST SLIDE and P Wolfgram SYBERITE were questioned and the matter was adjourned. At the resumed hearing, Jockey R Moses JUST SLIDE was reprimanded for causing LOVE THAT MOON, ridden by Jockey Darrin Sewell to be eased near the 950 mark. Jockey R Moses was reprimanded for causing SYBERITE ridden by Jockey P Wolfgram to be eased approaching the 850 Mark. Jockey R Moses was charged, and pleased guilty to a charge of Careless Riding, in that he allowed his mount JUST SLIDE to move in near the 800 mark when not sufficiently clear of SYBERITE ridden by Jockey P Wolfgram. His licence to ride in Races was suspended from midnight on Saturday the 27th November to include Saturday 4th December 1999.

RACE 2 CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1650 METRES 6 STARTERS
COUNT SWIFTLY (App Justin Stanley) was inclined to over race from the 1400. The Jockey reported that his mount was inclined to hang as well. Jockey M McDuff dropped his whip just prior to passing the winning post.

RACE 3 CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1000 METRES 6 STARTERS
At the start: SPLENDID SOLACE (P Cullen) jumped awkwardly and was slow to move.

RACE 4 2YO HANDICAP 1000 METRES 12 STARTERS
At the start: MAHATTA (J Long) was unsettled in the stalls and slow to move. ANTICIPATE (S Hetherington) jumped outwards. Near the 550,NOVCAN (M Cullen) eased to miss the heels of CELESTIAL GLORY (M Cullen) and towards the 500 NOVACAN, racing greenly at the time, shifted out forcing CELESTIAL GLORY onto PAY PHONE (M Guthrie).

RACE 5 MAIDEN HANDICAP 1320 METRES 14 STARTERS
At the start: MORNING AMBER (M Cullen) was fractious in the stalls. DOUBLE HAPPINNES jumped inwards and collided into LOVE ABOVE. At the 700 PRINCE REILL (P Wolfgram) had to ease to avoid the heels MR. REDMAN (D Sewell) who had shifted in. PORTRAIT MISS (F Edwards) was unable to obtain a clear run over the concluding stages of the race. An Inquiry was held into interference to HIS LORDSHIP ridden by Jockey S Watkin at about the 1000 mark. After hearing the evidence and viewing the video film, Jockey M Cullen was charged and pleaded guilty, to allowing his mount MORNING AMBER to move in when not sufficiently clear of HIS LORDSHIP. His licence to ride in races was suspended from midnight on Saturday the 27th November to include the 4th December 1999.

RACE 6 CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1320 METRES 14 STARTERS
A Stewards inquiry into the fall of SONG AND PRIDE ridden by Jockey G Watson and KILMARNOCK ridden by Jockey P Wolfgram who subsequently fell over the fallen horse some 20 metres after passing the Winning Post. A Number of riders were advised that the Stewards would be conducting their Inquiries at a time and date to be determined, inter several alleged incidents in the race.

RACE 7 OPEN HANDICAP 1000 METRES 11 STARTERS
The start of the race was delayed by 30min due to the fall in race 6
Jockey E Kowald was the replacement rider for EXCITING MACEDONIA, and P Tolley was the replacement rider for DARING LAD.
At the start: FOR LOVE (M McDuff) was fractious in the stalls and was slow to move. DARING LAD (M Tolley) was difficult to load as was BEYOND SPACE (Ms C Murphy). VIDEOGRAPHY (M Guthrie) jumped awkwardly.

RACE 8 CLASS 6 HANDICAP 1200 METRES 8 STARTERS
F Edwards was the replacement rider for CHAMBIRA and M Deguara was the replacement rider for WILLDALE.
The start of the race was put back 20min.



All winners were sent to be swabbed.
