At the start: SAL’S IMAGE (E Kowald) was difficult to load. ANNIE’S GOT A GUN (GD Kliese) was inclined to over race, which lead to SAL’S IMAGE being inconvenienced at about the 850. Near the 600 POETIC BAY (R Gallacher) eased to avoid the heels of CHANTIFFANY (Ms D Andrews), this in turn resulted in BORN SO VAIN (M Cullen) having to avoid the heels of SAL’S IMAGE. An Inquiry was held into interference to TYCOON TONY ridden by Jockey G Cullen at about the 900 mark. After hearing evidence and viewing the Video films, Jockey M Bennett was charged and found guilty of careless Riding under the terms of ARR 137a, and suspended from riding in races from midnight on Tuesday the 21st December, to include Monday the 27th December 1999.
