Late Riding Changes
As Jockey A. Coome was unable to fulfill his engagement, for personal reasons, Jockey P. Cullen was substituted as the rider of RANGILA in Race 3.
As Apprentice M. McGuren was ill and unable to fulfill his engagements, substitutions were made as per the Stewards Race Day Summary. App. McGuren was advised that he must provide a medical clearance before being permitted to ride again.

1st - FORGOTTEN DESTINY 2nd - NEVER CONFIRMED 3rd - SAN RAYMOND 4th - MR WRECKER
Mr Wrecker – Began awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. Raced keenly in the middle stages.
Raining Dollars – Hampered shortly after the start.
San Raymond - Inclined to lay out in the early part of the home straight.
Race 2: - Book A Function @ Cluden Fillies and Mares Maiden Handicap – 1000 metres
1st – SHE BEE STINGIN’ 2nd – RECONCILIATION 3rd - I’M MARIAH 4th – LADY’S GATHERING
Dreams Untold – Began awkwardly.
Hilton Miss – Was slow to begin. Approaching the 100 metres was hampered, and then for a short distance was awkwardly placed on heels.
Shareefah - Shifted in at the start and made contact with another runner.
Reconciliation – Bumped at the start.
She Bee Stingin’ - In the home straight was inclined to lay in under pressure.
I’m Mariah - Approaching the 200 metres was disappointed for a run and had to be shifted outwards to obtain clear running.
Race 3: - Dillon Group Architects QTIS 3-Y-O Maiden Handicap – 1000 metres
1st – ROYAL PHYSICIAN 2nd – RANGILA 3rd - HOW ABOUT ME 4th – KAYAN
App. J. Kuskopf replaced App. M. McGuren as the rider of TARANIS.
Jockey P. Cullen replaced Jockey A. Coome as the rider of RANGILA.
IMPROPER ROCKET, which injured itself in the float en route to the course, was examined by the Club’s veterinary surgeon. Acting on her advice that the filly was not fit to start, stewards ordered the withdrawal of IMPROPER ROCKET at 1.25 p.m. Trainer J. Manzelmann was advised that he must furnish a veterinary clearance prior to IMPROPER ROCKET being permitted to race again.
The declaration of correct weight was delayed when Jockey S. Wilson, the rider of HOW ABOUT ME, lodged an objection against RANGILA (P. Cullen) being declared 2nd, alleging interference in the home straight. After taking evidence from the parties involved, viewing the official patrol films and taking into consideration their own observations, stewards established that approaching the 150 metres HOW ABOUT ME was disappointed for a run between RANGILA and the eventual winner, ROYAL PHYSICIAN (J. P. Stanley), which shifted out. Stewards were unable to attribute responsibility for the incident solely to RANGILA, and, bearing in mind the margin of three quarters of a length between the runners at the finish, accordingly dismissed the protest and declared correct weight on the judge’s numbers.
Molongle Hero – Was slow to begin.
How About me – Slow to begin.
Belle Suzanne – Slow to begin. Trainer said that in light of poor performance she will now trial the filly prior to its next race start.
Dragon Hart – Began awkwardly.
Honest Friend - Buffeted between runners shortly after the start.
Kayan – Passing the 600 metres had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on heels.
Give Me Time - Raced wide throughout.
Rangila – Raced wide throughout.
Royal Physician - Shifted out approaching 150 metres.
Race 4: – Weseal Pty Ltd BenchMark 60 Handicap – 1400 metres
1st – DON’T THINK DO 2nd – BLU AXIS 3rd – MAL’S PRIDE 4th – MOLONGLE CHIEF
App. J. Orman replaced App. M. McGuren as the rider of DON’T THINK DO.
Pachamama - When questioned as to his riding, in particular in the early and middles stages, rider said that instructions were to go forward if possible, however his mount was standing awkwardly when the start was effected and began awkwardly, resulting in him becoming unbalanced in the saddle and losing ground. After this the mare travelled comfortably in slowly run event and finished the race off well. The explanation was noted.
Blu Axis – Raced wide throughout.
Mal’s Pride – Raced in restricted room near the 550 metres.
Race 5: – Logistics NQ Class 4 Handicap – 1200 metres
1st – INSIDE PAGE 2nd – A FINE DROP OF RED 3rd – DANGAR DIVA 4th – MORE THAN A SONG
Drop Shot – On returning to scale rider reported that the gelding began awkwardly with its head up and struck her on the chin.
Dane Will Do – Raced wide throughout.
Race 6: – Maccas Synthetic Grasses BenchMark 75 Handicap – 1000 metres
1st – EUREKA DUBAI 2nd – ALL THE TORQUE 3rd – STARLISTIC 4th – ARCATRAN
All The Torque - The declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow connections to view the patrol films to determine whether to lodge an objection against the winner. Having done so, they elected not to lodge a protest and correct weight was declared on the judge’s numbers. Bumped at the start.
Bolt From The Blue – Shifted out abruptly on jumping.
Starlistic – Shifted in at the start and contacted another runner. Raced keenly in the early stages.
Arcatran - Shortly after the start was crowded for room and had to be checked.
Seek De Fortune - Raced wide throughout.
Race 7: - Core Developments Class 2 Handicap - 1000 metres
1st – CLOUD DANCER 2nd – VIA CON DIOS 3rd – OAKFIELD COUNT 4th – JACSAID
Real Dreams - Was standing awkwardly in the barrier, turned its head as the start was effected and lost ground (3 lengths).
Via Con Dios – Hung out rounding home turn and carried another runner wider.
Cloud Dancer – Was carried wider rounding the home turn.
Rocketmountainhigh - Raced wide throughout.
