RACE 1: S Killen replaced R Barone MATTY’ GIRL as he failed to arrive on course by the prescribed time. Stewards withdrew MATTY’S GIRL at 6.20pm acting on Vet’s advice as it was lame in the near fore leg. Deductions of 21cents and 19cents. 7/2. Connections were advised a Vet’s certificate would be required prior to its next start. DOWDO (W Orbell) was reluctant to load, then raced greenly throughout shifting outward coming in contact with BOLD AND PROUD (App.N Tomizawa) at approx the 900m, attention trainer. VAIN AND NOBLE (J Warrington) was slow into stride, then raced ungenerously throughout coming in contact with OH BLUE ANGEL (App.C Maund) on two occasions in the straight, attention trainer. App.C Maund was cautioned when his mount rolled inward inconveniencing REGAL REGINA (A Gillett) at approx the 800m. JUKEBOX QUEEN (S Katsidis) whilst going forward had to be eased off the heels of OH BLUE ANGEL at approx the 700m. Time off 6.21pm.
RACE 2: ICY PRIDE (S Katsidis), STRAIGHT LACE (J Lait), LADY BOMBER (S Killen) and GOMATTY (S Bayliss) were all slow into stride. TAHMOOR (J Warrington) jumped inward inconveniencing KING SALUTE (M Lister). SEMI JEWEL (N Jolly) raced ungenerously getting its head in the air whilst being steadied during the middle stages of the race. Jockey S Katsidis (ICY PRIDE) was cautioned for attempting a run where there was insufficient room to the inside of KARASAN SKY (A Gillett) causing ICY PRIDE to be eased back and outward hampering TAHMOOR at approx the 350m. Jockey S Katsidis (ICY PRIDE) was reprimanded when his mount rolled inward inconveniencing KARASAN SKY at approx the 250m. Time off 6.52pm.
RACE 3: App.S Nolen replaced App.T Hill (SOLOMAN STAR) as he failed to arrive on course by the prescribed time. FLAMINGO (App.J Stanley) jumped awkwardly. BAY CHOICE (M Lister) raced ungenerously as the bit had pulled through its mouth giving the rider a difficult ride, attention trainer. Whilst losing ground SOLOMAN STAR hampered INCH (M Cahill) rounding the home turn. App.J Baker (HAIL ROCKET) was harmlessly dislodged when his mount spun back during the pull up. Time off 7.20pm.
RACE 4: SONGSTRESS (App.J Stanley) was slow into stride. DRINKS ON ME jumped outward coming in contact COAL BLUE BAY (App.N Tomizawa). LERIDA ROAD (App.K Banks) was held up rounding the turn behind BRAVE MAC (K Waller). CHIEF OF DREAMS (R Goltz) rolled outward under pressure hampering NOBLE JEWELS (S Shield). Time off 7.50pm.
RACE 5: ARGYLE LASS (M Bennett) was slow into stride. BLUE PHANESSA (K Waller) saddle slipped at approx the 1300m giving the rider a difficult ride, attention trainer. RIVER PRINCE (R Goltz) raced fiercely during the early stages of the race. ROTELLA (App.N Tomizawa) rolled inward at approx the 850m hampering PRIMARY MOTIVE (G Geran). Time off 8.20pm.
RACE 6: BALLY’S PICK (S Katsidis) jumped awkwardly, blundered and shifted inward causing general tightening to SONIC YOUTH (App.K Banks) and KWILA STAR (App.S Warren) with the latter being slow into stride. TRUNCHEON (App.T Hill) and AMBEHAVIN’ (M Aspinall) were both slow into stride. LONG TIME GONE (G Geran) raced ungenerously at approx the 800m when being eased from the heels of SEA OPAL (G Lynch). WHAT A LINE (R Goltz) raced greenly throughout shifting outward at approx the 600m coming contact with DOONSIDE BILL (App.L McCoy). Time off 8.50pm.
RACE 7: RAVEN ROYLE (K Sawyers) was reluctant to load, then jumped awkwardly. SURPRISE ATTACK (A Pattillo) blundered at the start and was slow into stride. Jockey N Jolly (GENTLE) was reprimanded when his mount rolled inward inconveniencing FARISIKNOW (R Goltz) which got its head up in the air and raced greenly momentarily at approx the 900m. Jockey N Jolly (GENTLE) was given the benefit of the doubt but was severely reprimanded when his mount shifted inward abruptly at approx the 850m causing LIVE IN FAITH (App.A Morrison) to move in and away from GENTLE in doing so inconvenienced SINGSING MERI (S Katsidis) which made contact with CLASSIC FRONTIER (M Paget) which resented the contact overreacted and lost ground. LIVE IN FAITH was held up in the straight behind NO SHOW (N Day). Time off 9.22pm.
