RACE 1: NOBLE UNIVERSE (A. Parramore) restless, eased at approx the 1400m, got his head in the air and raced fiercely to approx the 1100m. MY PAL BOB (S. Shield) jumped out across SHELLY (J. Warrington) which had dwelt. SHIGERU OSAMA (R. Goltz) fractious, and approaching the 400m shifted out forcing MY PAL BOB to race wide. Approaching the 350m SHIGERU OSAMA whilst hanging inward hampered NOBLE UNIVERSE. Time off 4.14 p.m.

RACE 2: GRASETA STAR (K. Yoshida) dismounted, reluctant to load, warning, jumped out coming into heavy contact with SHAROU (P. Wolfgram). STUCK FAST (J. Pollard) dwelt, hung out home turn. Approaching the 1000m CRACKERJACK’S HOPE (R. Goltz) over-reacted getting its head up in the air when eased as BOSPORUS (C. Small) rolled out and at the same time KANGAROO POINT (B. Swanton) moved in marginally. Contributing factors from all three horses, no further action. Nearing the 700m KANGAROO POINT shifted in onto STUCK FAST which came into contact with the running rail. Approaching the 450m BOSPORUS eased out to secure a clear passage coming into contact with CRACKERJACK’S HOPE. At approx the 100m KANGAROO POINT rolled in hampering SHAROU. Time off 4.51 p.m.

RACE 3: RIVIERA TREASURE (R. Goltz), GAY ADVENTURE (P. Wolfgram) and WAWEE (C. Small) were all fractious in the barrier. GOWRIE MISS (K. Yoshida) dwelt at the start. GROOVY MISS (C. Abraham) slow to jump, made home turn wide. GAY ADVENTURE hung out from approx the 550m to approx the 350m. Stewards heard a minor protest third against second for alleged interference in the home straight. It was found that on entering the straight COUNTRY ROSE (S Shield) shifted out coming into contact with WAWEE (C Small), however the severity of the contact did no warrant the changing of the placing, resulting in the protest being dismissed, judges placings stand, no further action. Time off 5.25 p.m.

RACE 4: Delay at start whilst gear adjusted on WINE CLUB (G. Geran). RAWCOMOTION (A. Parramore) slow to jump. OURS (B. Appo) jumped awkwardly and in. NADALAK (P. Wolfgram) jumped awkwardly. Nearing the 600m TINKER’S FANCY (R. Goltz) steadied from the heels of HIGH REWARDS (L. McCoy). Approaching the home turn TINKER’S FANCY held up for run behind HIGH REWARDS. Time off 6.06 p.m.




RACE 5: CANGAZE (P. Wolfgram) jumped inward causing the rider to strike his foot on the upright. LUCKY RAID (M. Gray) slow into stride. MISTER SWIFT (R. Kerwin) slow to jump. FUSTIAN (G. Geran) fractious, jumped awkwardly, slow away. Jockey M. Gray warned for allowing LUCKY RAID to shift in nearing the 1000m hampering FLYING FEATHERS (B. Appo) which in turn forced POCKET MY PRIDE (S. Shield) to ease from the heels of GARUDA PRINCE (R. Goltz) and race in restricted room. POCKET MY PRIDE (S. Shield) raced ungenerously in the middle stages when held up for a run. Time off 6.42 p.m.

RACE 6: CHAMTON (D. Green) jumped awkwardly, slow away. COVET COVE (B. Swanton) jumped on terms, slow into stride. MISTER OMEGA (N. Tomizawa) and AVIANCE (B. Carne) slow away. Nearing the 600m COVET COVE held up behind GALENO (P. Wolfgram). COVET COVE laid in down straight. SLINGO PRINCESS (K. Yoshida) rolled in down straight crowding CHAMTON (D. Green). Time off 7.22 p.m.

RACE 7: Jockey W. Orbell reported injury to left leg at Warwick race meeting, replaced by M. Gray (SPLICER’S DREAM). BARRACK (S. Shield) reluctant to load. IGNASSI (G. Lynch) reluctant to load, threw its head down as the gates opened, lost considerable ground. DAIDALOS (G. Geran) difficult to load, caution. SIR SAHIB (R. Kerwin) restless. IVORY TATTOO (C. Small) fractious. Shortly after the start IVORY TATTOO came together with NOBLE CRUISE (R. Goltz). THE TANK (B. Swanton) raced greenly throughout. NO MATTER WHAT (C. Kearney) jumped awkwardly, raced greenly. Nearing the 800m AGENCY (J. Warrington) rolled in coming into contact with RIGHT NOW PLEASE (J. Pollard). Approaching the 800m SECRET OBSESSION (H. Akiyama) rolled in crowding THE TANK (B. Swanton). Nearing the 750m AGENCY when steadied moved in away from the heels of THE TANK resulting in MAGIC GAME (D. Green) having to ease. Time off 7.57 p.m.

RACE 8: Delay leaving the parade yard when MUSIC MASTER (S. Shield) had to be replated. OCEAN BOY (J. Warrington) difficult to load, restless, jumped awkwardly and slow. CROWN AND ANCHOR (G. Geran) and ADHOC DOC (C. Spry) restless. KING OF LAUGHS (B. Appo) jumped awkwardly. CROWN AND ANCHOR raced greenly in the early stages. Nearing the 800m OCEAN BOY whilst racing greenly rolled in crowding ARGANAUTIKA (L. Roberts) which in turn hampered LUSKIN WARRIOR (R. Kerwin). Approaching the 500m MUSIC MASTER raced greenly, ducked in quickly hampering OCEAN BOY. During the middle stages KING OF LAUGHS raced greenly. Approaching the 200m OCEAN BOY shifted in hampering ARGANAUTIKA, then continued in under hard riding. Jockey J. Warrington issued with warning. Stewards questioned tnr L. Ross (ADHOC DOC) into the geldings improved performance and advised Stewards the horse was having its first start for the stable and was supported by connections as the it had been working well. Explanation accepted. Time off 8.37 p.m.
