General: Jockey P Wolfgram was injured during a track accident and was replaced for today’s meeting by J Warrington R1, C Small R3, M Gray R4, M Gray R5, A Parramore R6.
Race 1: Serrated (K Yoshida) was fractious in the barrier. Lima Jewel (B Appo) stood when the gates opened losing considerable ground, warning. Mallami (G Geran) jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. Pillsbury Attack (P Spry) raced fiercely during the middle stages of the race. Approaching the 500m Tentpegger (A Parramore) rolled inward making contact with Palace Moon (B Swanton). C Small (Taiyo Bay) was cautioned when his mount shifted in abruptly making contact with Pillsbury Attack at approximately the 250m. TIME OFF: 4:07pm
Race 2: Pauntang (M Gray) was fractious in the barrier. Mymardie (S Apthorpe) was fractious in the barrier and slow into stride. Shear Pin (J Warrington) was slow into stride then inclined to hang inward throughout. Approaching the 800m Uncanny Pleasure (A Parramore) whilst racing greenly rolled in hampering Time To Triumph (B Appo) then again rolled inward hampering Pauntang at approximately the 400m, attention Trainer. Race 3: Mr. Dickens (R Goltz) jumped awkwardly and blundered being slow into stride. Rounding the home turn Pisani Bay (S Shield) shifted outward whilst going forward making contact with Pity Of Love (A Parramore). TIME OFF: 5:25pm
Race 4: Tycoon’s Gift (G Geran) jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. Tigers (L Roberts) was slow into stride. Star Master (B Swanton) jumped outward making contact with Belle Of Sheba (M Gray). Approaching the 700m Sir Raimondo (J Warrington) was inclined to hang inward hampering Wendy’s Hope (S Shield). Approaching the 500m Pan Zareta (A Parramore) rolled outward making minor contact with Banyula Brave (R Goltz) which inturn shifted outward causing Wendy’s Hope (S Shield) to be eased off the heels of Sir Raimondo (J Warrington). TIME OFF: 6:00pm
Race 5: Grandvita (C Spry) was fractious in the barrier then jumped awkwardly. Generously (B Swanton) jumped awkwardly outward. Approaching the 1000m Yukmarr (G Geran) got its head up in the air and raced awkwardly when the pace steaded in front, in doing so hampered Grandvita (C Spry) causing the ladder to be steadied. TIME OFF: 6:42pm
Race 6: Zina Zulu (A Gillett) was restless in the barrier. Bay Duke (B Appo) was slow into stride. Adele Louise (G Geran) jumped awkwardly. Transcendent (M Traecey) shifted abruptly outward for no apparent reason approaching the 450m, attention Trainer. Approaching the 250m Jockey R Goltz (Touch Of Sanity) was cautioned when his mount to shifted in abruptly hampering Zina Zulu (A Gillett).

Race 7: Buglers (S Apthorpe) jumped awkwardly. Joedansam (B Appo) was slow into stride then raced greenly during the middle stages of the race. Mont Vue Dawn (S Shield) was fractious in the barrier, rearing. Steel Stars (G Geran) was slow into stride. Crimson Dream (G Lynch) jumped awkwardly outward then raced ungenerously throughout the early stages of the race, attention Trainer. Approaching the 900m Jockey L Roberts (Sir Tigger) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding when his mount shifted inward hampering Buglers (S Apthorpe), which got its head in the air and shifted inwards making contact with Crimson Dream (G Lynch), which inturn went inward making contact with Blaze A Fortune (A Lane) with the ladder becoming unbalanced and losing ground. Jockey L Roberts was suspended from riding in races from midnight 24/02/2001 up to and including the 9/03/2001 a period of six meetings. TIME OFF: 8:00pm
