Following further rain, Stewards downgraded the track to heavy.

RACE: 1. Khareef was slowly away. Ride The Rainbow jumped awkwardly. Approaching the 700 meters Balomois was steadied when crowded for room between Cool magi, which shifted out and Icy Snip, which shifted in. Approaching the 500 meters Balomois, which shifted out, was eased from the heels of Cool Magi. Leaving the 500 meters Balomois raced in restricted room for some distance to the inside of Cool Magi, which was taken in by Icy Snip, which was taken in by Intrepid Path. Approaching the 100 meters Intrepid Path and Cool Magi made contact. Jockey M Aspinall reported that Balomois failed to handle the heavy conditions. Time off 4.09 pm.

RACE: 2. A Parramore (Miss Darbonnaire) replaced A Morrison who was involved in road accident on the way to the course. J Warrington (Bold Emancipation) replaced M Paget who failed to arrive on course. M Paget will be interviewed at a later date. Coin Collector was slowly away. Cherry Lips jumped in the air as the gates opened. Shortly after the start Sheer Bliss shifted in making heavy contact with the hindquarters of Cawdor Sunset. Approaching the 800 meters Bold Emancipation and Saami Knight were momentarily crowded by Cherry Lips, which got its head up and shifted in. Cherry Lips then raced with its head up for some distance. On the point of the home turn Saami Knight was forced wider on the track by Bold Emancipation (J Warrington). J Warrington was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground. Time off 4.47 pm.

RACE: 3. Count Yallah was scratched at 9.08 am due to the track rating. Aviance and Here For Glory both lost ground when jumping awkwardly. L Roberts (Paris Consul) accidentally dropped his whip in the home straight. Time off 5.26 pm.

RACE: 4. Stewards granted a request by trainer M Goodwin to withdraw both Athenry and Eselkay due to the heavy track. Both horse were withdrawn at 5.00 pm. Stewards advised M Goodwin that both horses would have a heavy track bar imposed on them. Gorilla’s Galore shifted out over the concluding stages. Time off 6.05 pm.

RACE: 5. Following a discussion with the riders and a further inspection of the track, Stewards abandoned the meeting at 6.38 pm, due to the condition of the crossing and the visibility.

All winners were swabbed.
