The track was down graded from good to dead at 8.03 pm.

RACE 1: JBM Neurology Pty. Ltd. 2YO Maiden H'CAP – 1119 Meters
Acute Aquila, which was slowly away, jumped out and across the heels of Flashing Jack.
Leaving the 500 meters Flashing Jack was forced wider on the track by Acute Aquila.
Rory’s North was held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
Flashing Jack became unbalanced for a short distance once placed under pressure in the home straight.
When questioned about the disappointing performance of Acute Aquila, Jockey A Parramore stated that he could not offer any excuse.
Time off 4.05pm.
RACE 2: Masgold Labour Hire Class 1 H'cap– 1320 Meters
H Akiyama (Hutch) replaced S Wright who failed to arrive on course by the required time. S Wright was cautioned.
On jumping Impulsive Lass and Hutch were hampered between Palace Moon, which jumped out and Eureka Storm.
Leaving the 400 meters Impulsive Lass was held up for clear running.
Time off 4.45 pm.
RACE 3: Livestock Transport Group Class 1 H'cap - 1320 Meters
Chantal Park and Brophy were slowly away.
Make A Mark jumped in and across the running of Can’t Remember, which was slowly away.
Shortly after the start Firefoot Regal made heavy contact with Make A Mark, when taken out by Red D’Or, which hung out in the early stages.
Near the 850 meters Make A Mark shifted in and made heavy contact with the running rail. Can’t Remember, which was following was eased.
Make A Mark returned to scale with minor lacerations to both hind legs from being galloped on.
Time off 5.20 pm.
RACE 4: New Year Rock Concert Class 2 H’cap– 857 Meters
Ebony Crystal, which was injured, whilst being transported to the course, was withdrawn by Stewards at 10.45 am.
Jubilee King hung out in the early stages.
Approaching the 500 meters Celestial’s Gold was eased when crowded for room by Lord Rutherford (C Eaton), which shifted in. C Eaton was advised of her obligations when her mount is shifting ground.
The Advy, which was disappointed for a clear run approaching the 250 meters, was then held up for some distance for clear running.
Time off 5.55 pm.
RACE 5: New Year’s Hawaiian Dinner Dance Class 5 H'cap – 1219 Meters
D Green (Guidance) replaced D Craven who was stood down by the doctor after riding at the Gold Coast meeting.
Mana blundered on jumping.
Near the 850 meters Truscan was eased when crowded for room by Keep The Ace (M Dorrington), which shifted in. M Dorrington advised of his obligations when his mount is shifting ground.
Keep The Ace hung out rounding the home turn.
Guidance, which was lying in, was reluctant to come out from behind Icy Grip, leaving the 250 meters.
Guidance returned to scale with a laceration to the coronary band of the near hind.
Time off 6.34 pm.
RACE 6: New Year’s Eve Night Racing Class 3 H'cap– 1630 Meters
Zinta was slowly away.
Leaving the 400 meters Richesse made contact with Pat’s Orphan when taken out by Zelda.
Near the 300 meters Zelda was steadied from the heels of Richesse, which was taken out by Zinta.
A Parramore (Chariot’s Isle) was unable to ride his mount out with the whip due to it being tangled in the mane.
Time off 7.14 pm.
RACE 7: Clifford Park Catering F&M Maiden H'cap – 1219 Meters
Zenobia jumped awkwardly.
On jumping Kwilena was hampered by Snaalee, which jumped out.
Approaching the 100 meters Zenobia lied in under pressure.
Time off 7.55 pm.
RACE 8: Clifford Park Marquee Weddings E&G Maiden H'cap– 1119 Meters
Christmas Handout and Mister Fury made contact on jumping.
Strathconan was slowly away.
Time off 8.34 pm.
All winners were swabbed and pre race samples were taken from a number of horses.
