RACE 1: TYCO HEALTHCARE CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1009M.

SUPERSTAR LIBRA was slowly away.

SENT ABROAD and HARVEY ROAD made heavy contact on jumping.

Approaching the 800m COOROOMAN STAR was steadied when momentarily crowded for room.

Leaving The 800m DANZINA was steadied when momentarily crowded for room.

Approaching the 700m BROEENE was steadied when crowded for room between DEVONPORT, which shifted in and FLYING SHOES, which shifted out.

Neat the 600m PELAGIC LIMIT was eased when tightened for room by FLYING SHOES, which shifted in and away from BROEENE.

Time off 3.50 pm.

RACE 2: EUROKA KITCHENS & JOINERY MAIDEN H’CAP – 1110M.

LAFFAH, which shifted out abruptly on jumping, raced greenly throughout. Trainer R Hawkswell was advised that a warning was being placed on the filly.

MAGIC WIN and THROW A HEART made contact on jumping.

VITE YVETTE, which jumped awkwardly, raced greenly throughout.

At the start CHIEF QUALO was hampered between AUNT BARB and PLUSH SPLENDOUR, which jumped in.

Leaving the 800m CHIEF QUALO shifted in abruptly and across the heels of SIGHTED, which was shifting out.

AUNT BARB raced wide from the 600m.

Time off 4.27 pm.

RACE 3: NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK CLASS 2 H'CAP - 1210M.
ROYAL SUCCESSOR lost ground when it jumped awkwardly.

CHANTAL PARK was slowly away.

Leaving the 1000m HUGGER MUGGER, which got its head up whilst being eased, continued to race with it up for some distance.

Leaving the 400m BLUE MOXIE was racing in restricted room between SON OF DAWN and DARK FROST.

Time off 5.05 pm.

RACE 4: ALPINE REFRIGERATION QLD CLASS 5 H'CAP – 1210M.

MAGADI was slowly away.

NOBLE EFFORT jumped awkwardly.

Approaching the 850m KOMYKYN TRUDA shifted out making contact with LILY’S BABY.

Leaving the 850m TELCARPI was steadied when it struck the heels of PASSING TIME.

NOBLE EFFORT shifted out over the concluding stages.

Time off 5.45 pm.

RACE 5: BURKE INDUSTRIES CLASS 3 H'CAP – 1615M.

PEDRO’S POWER and HOT PROMISE made contact on jumping.

MISTER SQUEALER and JOANNA’S SCENT raced keenly in the early stages.

STYLE QUEEN and BLACK PILL laid in over the concluding stages.

Time off 6.27 pm.

RACE 6: SIEMENS MEDICAL SOLUTIONS PTY LTD MAIDEN H'CAP – 1615M.

Trainer L Maudsley (SOBROTH) and H Fahy (CELEBRITY BLAZE) were each fined the sum of $50 for failing to declare their rider by the required time.

FARRINGDON was slowly away.

Shortly after the start PETE’S REVENGE made contact with the hindquarters of NOT OVER.

Time off 7.12 pm.

RACE 7: BERNIE MCGLYNN CONSTRUCTIONS 3-Y-O MAIDEN H'CAP – 1210M.

J McKinnon (GREUZE) replaced L Morrison who was unable to fulfil her engagement due to transport problems.

MISS TELLAC was slowly away.

CLEAR THE AIR jumped awkwardly.

At the start S Killen (PLAITED) was momentarily unbalanced when his mount jumped very awkwardly.

Near the 800m BANKA BUCK was steadied when crowded for room by MANZALA (N Evans), which shifted in. N Evans was cautioned.

Leaving the 800m VALIANT DANE blundered when it struck the heels of COVET THE CROWN as the pace steadied.

Leaving the 800m ROLLING ALONG raced greenly whilst racing on the inside.

On the point of the home turn PLAITED, which was taken out by SINGING CLOUD, made contact with GREUZE.

Near the 350m ROLLING ALONG was steadied when momentarily crowded for room by MALMISCHIEF, which rolled in.

Approaching the 250m COVET THE CROWN was disappointed for a run.

VALIANT DANE, which shifted out in the early stages of the home straight, shifted in over the concluding stages.

Leaving the 100m COVET THE CROWN made contact with BANKA BUCK when shifting in and away from VALIANT DANE.

MALMISCHIEF shifted in over the concluding stages.

CLEAR THE AIR raced wide in the middle stages.

Time off 7.50 pm.

ALL WINNERS WERE SWABBED.

19/11/02: Trainer M Jeynes pleaded guilty to an improper conduct charge in that on the morning of the 13/11/02 on Clifford Park Racecourse property, he head butted Jockey G Lynch following an exchange of words. M Jeynes was fined the sum of $500. Stewards suspended $300 of the fine for a period of 12 months in terms of LR36H.
