WEATHER – FINE TRACK – GOOD RAIL – TRUE

Track was upgraded to good at 2.00 pm.

Trainer K May (Late Rider) $50

RACE 1: FOSTERS LIGHT ICE CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1000M.

WEARING THE GREEN jumped with its head in the air.

BENNY’S INN, which jumped with its head in the air and CHAMPAGNE IVY made contact shortly after the start.

Leaving the 800m WEARING THE GREEN was steadied when ROYAL CARTOOSH shifted in.

Approaching the 100m LITTLE DOT and MURDSA made contact when both shifted ground.

Time off 3.47 pm.

RACE 2: CROWN LAFER CLASS 6 H'CAP – 1100M.

KOMYKYN TRUDA jumped in making heavy contact with the gate.

Leaving the 400m JUST GUS was eased from the heels of KOMYKYN TRUDA, which shifted out whilst hanging out.

Near the 150m BANYULA BRAVE was steadied when crowded for room by MIAMI DRIVE.

K Banks (MIAMI DRIVE) was unable to fully test her mount in the home straight due to her mount hanging in.

Time off 4.27 pm.

RACE 3: CASCADE PREMIUM CLASS 2 H'CAP - 1600M.

Trainer K May was fined the sum of $50 for failing to declare the rider for FLYING SHOES by the required time.

Near the 800m and 550m MR. INSURANCE was steadied from the heels FLYING SHOES.

CALM ACTION hung in throughout.

DANTIBES’ TREASURE appeared to resent being ridden with the whip over the concluding stages.

DARK FROST was forced to race wide throughout.

Time off 5.05 pm.

RACE 4: CARLTON MIDSTRENGTH BITTER CLASS 4 H'CAP – 1300M.

KISS AN ANGEL was withdrawn on veterinary advice at 11.27 am.

BORDEAUX HOPPER jumped awkwardly making contact with FORMAL AFFAIR.

Leaving the 1200m FORMAL AFFAIR raced ungenerously whilst pulling hard.

Approaching the 550m BORDEAUX HOPPER shifted out making contact with KILBRANNAN.

Leaving the 400m KILBRANNAN was forced wider on the track by BORDEAUX HOPPER.

Approaching the 250m KILBRANNAN shifted in and across the heels of BORDEAUX HOPPER.

A veterinary examination of FORMAL AFFAIR, which finished a distant last failed to reveal any abnormality.

Time off 5.45 pm.

RACE 5: CARLTON TROPHY FILIIES & MARES H'CAP – 1300M.

Stewards accepted the explanation of trainer D Burns why the rider for SHANNON LEE was not declared by the required time.

B Appo (SWAMP PRINCESS) replaced M Smith-Lester who was unable to make the required weight.

SASSI SWITCH raced keenly with its head in the air in the early and middle stages.

Leaving the 950m GOD HELP ME was steadied from the heels of SWAMP PRINCESS.

Leaving the 800m SHANNON LEE was cramped for room to the inside of DIGRESS.

Near the 550m REMI and GROOVY MISS made contact.

Leaving the 500m SHANNON LEE was held up for clear running for a short distance.

ENA’S TREASURE was forced to race wide from the 800m.

Time off 6.27 pm.



RACE 6: VB MAIDEN H'CAP – 1300M.

PRINCE OF CENTRES and VITE YVETTE were slowly away.

Near the 850m VITE YVETTE shifted in abruptly.

Leaving the 800m PRINCE OF CENTRES got its head up whilst being eased from heels.

Leaving the 550m PRINCE OF CENTRES dipped.

Near the 350m PRINCE OF CENTRES was steadied when crowded for room by PICCOLO PLAYER, which rolled in.

Time off 7.07 pm.

RACE 7: CARLTON & UNITED MAIDEN H'CAP – 1100M.

At the start MAYNE IMPULSE jumped in and across the running of MACHTIG POUSSIERE, which was slowly away. MAYNE IMPULSE continued to shift in taking both LADY LINX and KING FRIENDLY in, resulting in MAYNE IMPULSE making heavy contact with the hindquarters of COUNTRY DANCE. MAYNE IMPULSE then became unbalanced for a short distance.

COUNTRY DANCE, which raced greenly throughout, hung out from the 800m.

KING FRIENDLY hung out from the 800m.

Approaching the 100m LOCK AND QUAY was eased when crowded for room by LADY LINX (N Evans), which shifted in. N Evans was severely reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift in when not sufficiently clear.

Time off 7.50 pm.

ALL WINNERS WERE SWABBED.
