RACE 1: MTQ ENGINE SYSTEMS (AUST) PTY LTD CLASS 2 H'CAP – 900M

SLIDE jumped out and across the running of DAILY CONNECTION, which was slowly away.

FULL OF HONOUR, which jumped away awkwardly, raced greenly throughout.

HIDDEN AMBITION jumped away awkwardly losing ground.

At the start BLACK CENTURION lost ground when tightened for room between OUR TOP GUN, which jumped out and WHO IS JOE.

WARWICK DANCER, which jumped away awkwardly, was eased shortly after from the heels of STAR OF MIDNIGHT, which shifted out marginally.
Near the 650m MISS GOODY GOODY was steadied when crowded for room by CADILLAC DREAM (J Hoopert), which shifted in. J Hoopert was advised of his obligations when his mount is shifting ground.

RACE 2: QRSE MTQ ENGINE SYSTEMS (AUST) PTY LTD MAIDEN PLATE – 1500M

B Appo (SANDY CREEK) replaced C Spry. C Spry was fined the sum of $50 for failing to fulfil his engagement.

HOBEAU and SANDY STAR were slowly away.

Approaching the 1200m EXPLOSIVE INTENT lost ground when tightened for room by PEARL OF PICCOLO, which was taken in by BARBARIAN (R Pittman). R Pittman was reprimanded for permitting his ground to shift ground when insufficiently clear.

Near the 1200m BARBARIAN shifted out and made contact with the hindquarters of CHRISENDON.

Near the 550m SANDY CREEK shifted out taking ALANOR LASS out, which then made contact with BARBARIAN.

Leaving the 400m SANDY CREEK was steadied from the heels of HOBEAU, which shifted out marginally.

BARBARIAN lost its off fore plate during running,

RACE 3: MTQ ENGINE SYSTEMS (AUST) PTY LTD CLASS 1 H'CAP - 1850M.

Due to a miss-understanding S Killen was declared on MARAVEDI and KING JEUNE. K Banks was the replacement rider for KING JEUNE.

WHO DEALT THIS jumped away awkwardly losing ground.

FIL THE BILL and MARAVEDI were slowly away.

Leaving the winning post on the first occasion WHO DEALT THIS lost ground when crowded for room by WILD INTENTIONS (M Tarrant). M Tarrant was advised of his obligations when his mount is shifting ground.

Approaching the crossing WHO DEALT THIS got its head up and raced ungenerously for a short distance.

Approaching the 400m BIG SHOT was eased from the heels of CATCH STEVE, which was tiring.

C Spry had a harmless fall from WHO DEALT THIS at the pull up.

Time off 5.10 PM.

RACE 4: MTQ ENGINE SYSTEMS (AUST) PTY LTD CLASS 6 H'CAP – 1100M.

R Goltz (DARBY) replaced B Swanton. Stewards accepted the explanation of B Swanton why he failed to fulfil his engagement.

DARBY jumped out coming into contact with REGALESTO, which then shifted out crowding ARCOT and ALL IN AWE onto FOREVER SNIPPED.

TALBINGO LAD and HOOT’S VIEW jumped away awkwardly.

GRANDE ARROW and was slowly away.

Near the 350m ARCOT was crowded for room between TALBINGO LAD and FOREVER SNIPPED, which shifted out.

JUST KISTA hung out throughout.

RACE 5: MTQ ENGINE SYSTEMS (AUST) PTY LTD CLASS 3 H'CAP – 1200M

G Geran (BLACK PILL) replaced L Roberts who failed to arrive on course by the required time. Stewards accepted the explanation of L Roberts why he failed to fulfil his engagement.

CALM ACTION, HELEN’S BROTHER and BLACK PILL were slowly away.

Approaching the 950m LE JESTER was eased when taken in by TEXAS BLUES (C Eaton), which shifted in sharply. C Eaton was reprimanded for permitting her mount to shift in when insufficiently clear.

Approaching the 800m IDIDIT and NUMERO UNO were crowded for room by JERASH, which was hanging in.

Leaving the 400m CALM ACTION was held up for clear running.

A veterinary examination of BLACK PILL, which performed disappointingly, revealed that the mare was suffering from Cardiac Arrythmia. Trainer W Chapman was advised that BLACK PILL is required to barrier trial and have an ECG before the mare is allowed to start again.

Time off 6.25 PM.

RACE 6:MTQ ENGINE SYSTEMS (AUST) 3-Y-O MAIDEN H'CAP – 1200M.

MISS BOONARA, which was difficult to load, is required to barrier trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to its next start.

MISS BOONARA was slowly away.

MISTER AJAX, which jumped away awkwardly, then shifted out abruptly across the heels of CARATOLOGY.
GOLDEN OSCAR jumped away awkwardly.

At the start MINDINI was crowded for room between CARATOLOGY and SEEYA, which jumped in.

Near the 850m GOLDEN OSCAR was tightened for room between MISS BOONARA, which shifted out after brushing the rail and HE’S NO GENTLEMAN, which was taken in by MIDDLE CLASS.

Approaching the 800m RAJAH RAUTAI was steadied as SKIP LUNCH crossed.

Leaving the 600m GOLDEN OSCAR got its head up and raced ungenerously whilst being eased from heels.

Near the 350m DOUBLE DECKER and OVERTOTHREE made contact when both shifted ground.

OVERTOTHREE laid in once placed under pressure in the home straight.

When questioned about the improved performance of SKIP LUNCH, Trainer E Ropiha stated that at his last start at Eagle Farm he was forced to race wide throughout and 1300m was a shade too far for the gelding at that stage of his preparation, explanation noted.

J Warrington (DOUBLE DECKER) was dislodged at the pull up. Stewards declared correct weight in terms of AR 142 due to J Warrington being examined by the ambulance officer who subsequently cleared J Warrington to fulfil his remaining engagement.

RACE 7: MTQ ENGINE SYSTEMS (AUST) PTY LTD MAIDEN H'CAP – 1000M

COSSANTE, which was slowly away, raced wide in the early and middle stages, also raced greenly throughout.

RHYTHMS BOY was slowly away.

STRONG ‘N’ BLACK, which was slowly away, shifted in abruptly shortly after.

KALKADOON LASS jumped in coming into contact with ROBBIE REDGUM, which dwelt as the gates opened.

Time off 7.45 PM.
