RACE 1: ALQUIP CLASS 3 H'CAP – 900M.
BLACK CENTURION was considerably slow to begin.
RAW IMPULSE was tightened for room and lost ground shortly after the start after being taken in onto the hindquarters of SUMMER AFFAIR by MISS CONGENIALITY, which was taken in by LOVE IN THE MIST, which had in turn been taken in by JOEKEN, which jumped away very awkwardly.
Approaching the 500m MISS CONGENALITY rolled in hampering SUMMER AFFAIR.
Rounding the home turn BLACK SUIT hung out.
JOEKEN was forced to race wide throughout.
Time off 4.02pm.
RACE 2: QTIS 2YO MAIDEN H'CAP – 1012M.
FRIGATE, which reared over prior to being loaded, was inspected by the clubs vet and passed clear to start.
PICKASTAR and I DARE YOU were both slow to begin.
Shortly after the start PICAFIGHT shifted in abruptly hampering FRIGATE, which in turn shifted in hampering MINE NOT YOURS.
Approaching the 750m, MISTER PIERCE, which raced greenly through out, hung out across the heels of FRIGATE and lost ground. STRICKING LOOKS, which was following was also hampered.
PICKAFIGHT was held up for clear running in the early stages of the straight.
NADEEDA shifted in abruptly in the home straight.
HOUSE OF WOODWING and FRIGATE both hung in over the concluding stages of the race.
A post race vet examination of SURE WIN BARBIE failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Time off 4.43 PM.
RACE 3: LEN PATTI MOTORS CLASS 1 H'CAP - 1313M.
ECHO LAD was extremely slow to begin.
INVERMORE was slow to begin.
BRAZEELIANA, which raced very ungenerously through out, shifting out approaching the 1000m, making contact with INVERMORE.
Approaching the 800m, KISS AND FLY eased from heels and hung out hampering both COEMPTION and WOMBY LEE, which were following.
ECHO LAD was held up rounding the home turn.
Apprentice C Gilby was reprimanded for allowing his mount HEALER to shift in approaching the 200m resulting in ECHO LAD begin eased.
BRAZEELIANA and RAINBOW REACH both raced wide through out.
CIBOLETTA returned to scale lame in the near fore leg, following a vets inspection it was found the mare had bowed a tendon.
Time off 5.20 PM.
RACE 4: CRACKER PRINT & PAPER PREMIERSHIPS CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1620M.
MARAVEDI was slow to begin.
ALTAO jumped awkwardly and shifted in inconveniencing FLASH CIRCLE.
FLASH CIRCLE made the crossing awkwardly and shifted out making heavy contact with VODNAR.
Jockey G Lynch the rider of HOT FOOTING pleaded guilty of a charge of careless riding when it was found he allowed his mount to shift out when insufficiently clear of INVERLEIGH LAD, which had to be checked when taken out across the heels of NIGHTSHOOTER. Jockey G Lynchs’ license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 meetings to commence midnight the 24 July 2004 and to conclude midnight the 4 August 2004.

RACE 5: KEVIN KLEIN MEMORIAL HANDICAP – 1113M.
A warning was placed on SKY NYMPH, which was reluctant to load.
TREASURE THE KWILA was forced to race wide throughout.
Apprentice A Gain the rider of JILLINA BLUE was fined $100 for failing to weigh out with irons.
Time off 6.33 PM.
RACE 6: QRSE MAIDEN H’CAP - 1113M.
SHE’S ASTUTE and SHADI were both slow to begin.
After begin slightly tightened for room to the inside of SIR GLITTER when approaching the 1000m, GOOD CARD was reluctant to hold its position and lost ground.
MISS HOEY MOEY was inclined to hang out approaching the 800m taking both SHE’S ASTUTE and REGENET wider on the track.
Jockey N Evans the rider of ANOTHER TAAN was reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift in when leaving the 800m inconveniencing both MICHELANGELO and NORTHERN GALAXY.

RACE 7: CLIFFORD PARK CATERING 3YO MAIDEN H'CAP – 1620M.
BLACK TERROR was slow to begin.
Approaching the 1300m both ICE BIRD and OUR TOP BID lost ground when eased of the heels of CITI WALTZ when the pace slackened.
SNEAK A KISS hung out making the 1300m turn and lost ground.
SNEAK A KISS and PRINCE PERCY were both forced to race wide through out.
Shortly after entering the straight LADY TARYN shifted out and hampering the tiring PRINCE PERCY.
A post race vet examination of TIARO PRINCESS, which raced poorly from the 600m onwards, found the horse to be lame in the near fore leg. Connections were advised that a certificate of fitness would be required prior to next start.
A post race vet examination of FUHRMILION, which tailed off last, found the filly to be slightly shin sore and had sustained a laceration to the off hind coronet in running. Connections were advised that a certificate of fitness would be required prior to next start.
Time off 7.42 PM.
