RACE 1: CRACKER PRINT & PAPER PTY LTD CLASS 4 H'CAP – 1300M.

EXTRA LOOSE was slowly away.

TARANA AVENUE jumped away awkwardly.

Near the 850m CUT IT OUT was eased from the heels of AVON WALTZ (M Tarrant), which shifted in. M Tarrant was reminded of his obligations when his mount is shifting ground.

Approaching the 400m COVET SECA and EXTRA LOOSE made contact.

Time off 3.51 PM.

RACE 2: HIGGINS THROUGHBRED TRANSPORT MAIDEN H'CAP – 1000M.

PIPING ROCK and DAYDREAMS GIRL were slowly away.

RARE PROSPECT jumped away awkwardly.

DOUBLE DECKER jumped in as the gates opened.

Near the 800m LION’S IMAGE was momentarily crowded for room by GOLD SOLOMON, which shifted in.

Approaching the 750m STAND YOUR GROUND shifted in and made contact with DOUBLE DECKER.

Near the 550m LION’S IMAGE was steadied from heels.

DOUBLE DECKER shifted out in the home straight once placed under pressure.

DOUBLE DECKER lost its off fore plate during running.

Time off 4.32 PM.

RACE 3: ANN OVERELL MEMORIAL CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1000M.

CENQUALO jumped forward and struck the front gates of the starting stalls, when it took fright when FAIRLY BROKE kicked the back gates. In this incident CENQUALLO lost some hair from its head and dislodged two teeth.

At the start CENQUALO and FAIRLY BROKE were crowded for room between ZELLWEGER, which jumped out and KAVORT, which jumped in.

MISTER BOOLA was slowly away.

Near the 950m KAVORT shifted out coming into heavy contact with BREWER’S CHOICE.

Near the 950m PENTAL ADVENTURE lost ground when it shifted in abruptly and attempted to buck. Trainer D Ward was advised that PENTAL ADVENTURE is required to pass a barrier jumpout prior to its next start. Trainer D Ward was reprimanded for his conduct in the Stewards room.

Leaving the 800m ZELLWEGER was steadied when crowded for room by FAIRLY BROKE, which was taken in by BREWER’S CHOICE (N Tomizawa), which shifted in. N Tomizawa was reminded of his responsibilities when his mount is shifting ground.

Leaving the 550m JEROMIE’S STAR was steadied from the heels of ZELLWEGER.

Leaving the 500m MISTER BOOLA was taken wide by KAVORT, which shifted out whilst hanging out.

BREWER’S CHOICE hung out from the 550m until the early stages of the home straight.

Approaching the 350m FAIRLY BROKE was crowded for room between ZELLWEGER, which shifted out and MAVOURIN.

BREWER’S CHOICE, which raced ungenerously in the home straight, shifted out approaching the 100m coming into contact with PENTAL ADVENTURE.

JEROMIE’S STAR hung in once placed under pressure in the home straight.

OCTOSON, which shifted out over the concluding stages, was eased from the heels of DIAGON DUCHESS near the 50m.

Time off 5.11 PM.

RACE 4: ALQUIP CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1200M.

OLIVERS UP stood flat – footed as the gates opened losing considerable ground. Trainer G Patterson was advised that OLIVERS UP is required to pass a barrier jumpout prior to its next start.

SOLIDIFIED jumped out as the gates opened.

EDITOR IN CHIEF, DASH OF AMBER and RANCHO’S LOVE were slowly away.

SILENT THOUGHT shifted out over the concluding stages.

Time off 5.50 PM.

RACE 5: QRSE CLASS 5 H'CAP – 1600M.

Leaving the 800m RUE THE SAINT was eased away from the heels of GRANDE ARROW.

Leaving the 400m SAAMI KNIGHT was momentarily held up for clear running.

GRANDE ARROW shifted out once placed under pressure in the home straight.

Time off 6.30 PM.

RACE 6: QTIS 3-Y-O MAIDEN H'CAP – 1200M.

FINLANDER jumped out and across the running of DENIKI, which was slowly away.

PEARL OF PARADISE and SPECIAL DODGE were slowly away.

OODLE’S ‘N’ OODLES jumped away awkwardly.

Leaving the 900m SPECIAL DODGE shifted in and away from DENIKI.

Near the 600m AFEWATTHEVIEW made heavy contact with the running rail when shifting in and away from DENIKI.

Near the 350m ONE FOR THE ROAD was checked when tightened for room between STOMEY SEPOY and THAT’S HIM (W Cook), which shifted out. W Cook was reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift ground when insufficiently clear.

Time off 7.05 PM.

RACE 7: QRSE MAIDEN PLATE – 1300M.

Trainer V Heading was fined the sum of $50 for failing to declare the rider for FLEETING STAR by the required time.

The start was delayed whilst FLEETING STAR had a plate re-fitted.

Approaching the 850m FLEETING STAR, which was over – racing was eased when tightened for room by DUSTY BALL (M Dickson), which shifted in whilst racing greenly. M Dickson was advised, that Stewards expected to see more effort from him when his mount is shifting ground.

Near the 800m OPEULIKEIM was severely buffeted between CATCHING DREAMS and FLEETING STAR, which shifted out whilst racing ungenerously.

Near the 200m WHEN DID YOU KNOW (K Yoshida), which shifted in whilst lying in, took MCINTYRE LAD in, which made contact with the hindquarters of CLANG EDITION, which was shifting out to take a tight run to the outside of SHE’S ASTUTE. In this incident MCINTYRE LAD lost ground and CLANG EDITION became unbalanced. K Yoshida was reprimanded for continuing to ride his mount with the whip whilst his mount was lying in.

Near the 50m LA QUALITY was eased from the heels of WHEN DID YOU KNOW, which was taken out by CLANG EDITION.

Time off 7.43 PM.
