SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS
RACE 1: FEDERAL HOTEL QTIS 2-Y-O MAIDEN H'CAP – 1009M.
FOUR KINGS broke through the gates prior to release, quickly restrained, vetted passed fit to race.
LIL’ MISS INNOCENT was slow to begin.
FOUR KINGS was tightened at start between RIN TIN and IRISH FOREST.
STORMY SEQUALO jumped out causing general tightening runners outside
Approaching the 700m Jockey A Erhart (MISTER MUSTANG) was dislodged, after being attended by the Ambulance was transported to hospital with neck pain. An inquiry was opened into the fall; preliminary statements were taken from all riders and the Stewards. The inquiry was adjourned to a time and date to be fixed when Jockey A Erhart would be available.
Approaching 500m, STORMY SEQUALO was momentarily tightened for room to the inside of MOLLY’S MEMORY.
Leaving 500m, IRISH FOREST rolled in forcing STIRLING to be held up momentarily on the heels of MOLLY’S MEMORY.
Leaving 400m, STIRLING shifted out to obtain clear running, hampering IRISH FOREST.
Both FOUR KINGS and SOPHIE’S TAN raced extremely greenly from the 300m onwards.

RACE 2: QRSE SEVEN SPORT MAIDEN PLATE – 900M.
There was delay in the starting time of this race due the ambulance clearing the course proper whilst attending the fallen rider from the previous race.
KEN PAL stood flat footed losing considerable ground, and then raced greenly throughout, warning.
BRILLIANT CLANG was tightened for room at the start losing ground.
MR.NO IT ALL and DANCE CARD DOLL were forced to race wide during the early and middle stages of the race.
MISS JOKER whilst laying in made contact with STONETOWN GIL on at least 4 occasions.
Time off 5.03 PM.
RACE 3: RYDGES CALOUNDRA CLASS 3 H'CAP – 900M.
Jockey G Geran was stood down the Club Doctor for the remainder of the meeting.
DANGEROUS HOST was slow to begin.
ROADIE RAN raced wide throughout.
SLIDE returned to scale with blood in one nostril.
Time off 5.32 PM.
RACE 4: QRSE THE CHRONICLE CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1200M.
As C Maund was fined $50 as he could not make the weight. Replacement rider B Dieckman.
The starter (H Saunders) declared a false start when the gates opened releasing the field due to a mechanical failure prior to be released by the starter. MISS GLAMOUR PUSS ($2.40) and KAORU TIME ($101) that completed a lap of the course and after being examined both were withdrawn by order of the Stewards acting on the Vets advice at 6.10pm. Deductions for both late scratching were 39cents the win and 23cents the place. All other runners were declared fit to race.
Stewards heard a dual protest lodged by L Morrison the rider of EDITOR IN CHIEF 4th against ECHO LAD (K Banks) 2nd and KUTUZOV (H Hamada) 3rd for alleged interference approaching the home turn and in the final straight. The protest 4th against 3rd was when KUTUZOV shifted in causing EDITOR IN CHIEF to check across its heels at the 550m. Protest 4th against 2nd was when ECHO LAD shifted out making contact with and inconvenienced EDITOR IN CHIEF at the 250m. After hearing evidence from all parties and on viewing the films both protests were dismissed due to the ground lost was not sufficient enough to reverse the placings.
At a subsequent inquiry App H Hamada (KUTUZOV) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the terms of ARR137(a) when he permitted his mount to shift in near the 550m when insufficiently clear of EDITOR IN CHIEF (L Morrison). App H Hamada was suspended from riding in races for a period of 8 meetings from midnight 5.2.05 up to and including 15.2.05. Also at a subsequent inquiry Jockey K Banks (ECHO LAD) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under the terms of ARR137(a) when she permitted her mount to shift out when insufficiently clear of EDITOR IN CHIEF. Jockey K Banks was suspended from riding in races from midnight 5.2.05 up to and including 17.2.05.
ECHO LAD was slow to begin.
HOODOO VOODOO whilst laying away from the rail made contact with CASHEL FLIGHT on at least two occasions in the back straight.
Time off 6.13 PM.
RACE 5: COL WILKIE BODY WORKS CLASS 4 H'CAP – 2069M.
WILD GUN jumped awkwardly with its head in the air.
ZYLVESTER raced wide during the early stages of the race.
Time off 6.44 PM.
RACE 6: PRESTON PEAK WINERY CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1615M.
MODEST MISS and NICKELBACK were both slow into stride.
REGENET race wide during the early and middle stages of the race.
App. H Hamada (REGENET) was reprimanded when his mount shifted in hampering PEDRO HENRY and UMAPRINCE at approximately the 800m.
Jockey W Cook (COSSANTE) was reprimanded when his mount shifted in hampering MABLE DOWNS.
MODEST MISS race greenly over the concluding stages of the race.
Time off 7.20 PM.
RACE 7: CRIMESTOPPERS MAIDEN H'CAP – 1310M.
Trainer B Lunney was fined the sum of $50 for a late rider.
GUN CARRIAGE had to be eased of the heels of SEEING RED at the 1400m.
App H Hamada (MA FILLE) was reprimanded when his mount rolled in tightening and hampering GUN CARRIAGE onto PRINCESS LIL that rolled out slightly.
